  i just came home from picking up my baby from school, and i see a brand new sign posted 4 doors from my house.. "building permit.

  issued for the construction of a new kingdom hall of jehovah's witnesses".. i just can't seem to get away from them..

  WTS Idea of "Prophecy" – Do You Find This Ridiculous???

  the wts view is that we don't understand bible prophecy until after it is fulfilled.

  thus their excuse for mis-understanding what was going to happen in 1876, 1914, 1918, 1925, 1975, etc.

  Bad Dream

  4am in the uk, and i was jolted awake by a dream about my mother dying, she is not in good health.

  i felt overwhelmingly sad that if this happens, she will die in sadness over me.

  and also very upset because she is my mum and i want her to love me and be interested in my life and that just isn't the case any longer.. i realise i am 'luckier' than some on here because at least she speaks to me.

  and then some days, i wake up and i have all this anger inside.

  When distressing things start to happen, the prophecies will come to mind- and we will be encouraged & empowered!

  If the role of prophecy is simply to encourage and uplift our spirits that is fine. But then we should not make important decisions --like whether or not to go to college -- based on "prophecy."
