I'm an introvert. I do tech support for a living which involves talking to people. I love my job, but most days I eat lunch alone, or go for a walk alone. I dont ever pick up the phone at home, I dont have many friends (but Im not lonely), and I get really annoyed when people (even family) visit without calling first. I can handle people quite well proffessionaly, but I prefer to be alone, and it' s how I "recharge my batteries".

Would JW's would crash planes into buildings if the Society said to?
by isnrblog ini asked the three elders who disfelowshipped me this question.. basically, they replied, "the society would never tell them to do that".
thats not my question.
if they told you to, would you?.

The fact that they never answered your question is the answer. The answer is unquestioning obedience and loyalty. As DT said, the Watchtower would have to lay the ground work first, but it's possible.

What happens if your DF'ed at the Big A
by sooner7nc inthe question is actually, what does the borg say or think as regards persons who have been df'ed who have shown repentance, but have not been reinstated at the time of the big a, or die in an accident, sudden illness, etc.
while df'ed.
do these persons get raised from the dead, or are they sol because of the vagaries of time and circumstance?

I really wish Armagedon would just get here and kill everyone already. It is getting REALLY old.
Seriously, how long can you threaten to punish someone and not do it, before it just gets ridiculous.

Do they still do the Friday Night Pre-WT Study???
by Confucious inin the early 90's, all the rage was the pre wt study.. basically, the young witnesses would get together on friday nights to underline their watchtower together.. then afterwards we'd hangout or whatever.. it used to drive me crazy because if you wanted to hang out, basically you would have to sit through another meeting.. granted it was informal, but it was the same dang thing you were going to do again on sunday.. the young ones still doing this today?.

Interesting, I honestly thought this was my Dad's idea. I had no idea others were doing it too. I feel like an idiot now.

Elders and JWs who study a lot...
by cognac indo you think they know its not the truth???
elders, for example, through jcs are privied to info about the jw involvement with the un, 607 bce, etc, etc... .
people who actually do study a lot, you think they figured it out???.

It's no so much how much you study, it how much of an open mind you have. The more convinced you are that it is the Truth, the more likely you will dismiss anything that suggests the contrary.

Kingdom Hall Assistance Arrangement (KHAA)
by Bryan inthis was running on the barbara anderson's comments from her cd compilation now online!http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/151081/3.ashx.
i thought it needed it's own place.. documents showed the tower suggests $4.50 per publisher.
the insurance has been in place since 1989.. for just in the last year, in america alone, the tower had made 4.5 million just on insurence premiums.

why haven't they come out with their own credit card? The Kingdom visa or mastercard ought to make a good amount of $$$ for them, especially because they would probably charge a pretty high interest.
That's genious. They'll find a way to put a theocratic spin on it, like maybe the interest they collect goes back to fund kingdom interest. A great way to "put the kingdom interests first" while you shop. Another "loving provision from Jehovah's organization."
I swear, we have got to stop giving them ideas.
