Ghosts and using God's name
by Quexinos inokay im just gonna ask my question because i'm curious.
i'm still not even sure if there are actual witnesses here or just people aruging with them (some people have too much free time) .
see lately i've been watching this show "a haunting" and a lot of the episodes are the same.

It's absolutely NOT TRUE
The name Jehovah, is used in black Satanic rituals.
Look in Alistair Crowley's "Magick in Theory and Practice"

Did the JWs conceal crucial info before your baptism
by greendawn infor those that became jws but weren't born in the cult, do you feel that before baptism the dubs withheld from you information that should have been revealed, things that if you were aware of you wouldn't become a jw in the first place, such as the heartless dfing policy.
perhaps focusing on the promise of paradise earth and eternal life makes us forget to search out possible negative issues and that's part of their trickery.

Here's what I knew about it before my baptism:
You don't celebrate xmas or birthdays or anything
The only people you can hang out with are perverted children of elders
You don't eat or take blood
Dinosaur bones were either put there by Satan, or the earth and all it's life and history happened in the last 49,000 years
The outside world is far worse than inside the org (that's a really scary thought!)
If I don't get baptised and stay in I will loose my family (in the end I did anyway)
There is NO wrongdoing in the congregation and it would NEVER be covered up
I was raised around it, I guess I didn't pay much attention -

WTS still an NGO in US?
by ICBehindtheCurtain inhi all: i came across something very interesting, in looking at this pdf there is a list of ngo's that attended for some conference on anti-semitism and guess who is on there?
if you scroll down you will find that in belgium the wts (under their european christian jehovah's witness umbrella) but if you scroll down to the us section you will find that they show up as the watchtower bible and tract society of pennsylvania, so apparently as of 2005 when this conference was held, they were still an ngo, does anyone else know about this?.

VERY interesting indeed.
I have only just begun learning about this issue so I don't remember exactly what went on. Didn't they say they were no longer in the UN?
Can anyone breifly refresh my memory?

Ex-Jehovahs WitnessesAngels With Dirty Faces?
by The wanderer in<!-- .style1 { font-size: 21px; font-family: arial; } .style2 { font-size: 17px; font-family: arial; } .style3 { font-family: verdana, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; } .style5 {font-family: verdana, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; font-style: italic; } .style6 {color: #0000ff} --> ex-jehovahs witnessesangels with dirty faces?anyone who is familiar with the jehovahs witnesses .
religion knows how the watchtower society views fallen angels.. .
they view individuals who leave the truth as weak malcontents that share no appreciation for god or spiritual matters.

I am sure more and more people are leaving, not because they want to run out and commit fornication, but because of policies and doctrines they find fault with.
I'd have to agree with the above.
I left because I found it was not the "truth" at all. In fact, I've come to know that the Bible was in fact written by men who claim divine guidance, but I don't know those guys so why should I believe them? Also, the Bible has been re-written and re-interpreted so many times there is no reason to believe it resembles the original texts at all. The Bible from God? I do not believe it.
So I left for reasons of belief and faith, but I was disfellowshipped because of the "flesh".
It's a case of the WTS and the Elders not wanting to see the real reasons for things. The real truth.
