in today's study watchtower there was, yet again, more demonization of the internet.
although the paragraph purported to be about guarding against pornography, it struck me that they are attempting to kill two birds with one stone here, without mentioning one of the birds by name.
here's a scan, check out paragraph 15:.

the desert.
i embark upon a mind's desert journey in order to survey a wilderness landscape far from the grasp of winter's thrall upon my captive self.
only then may i perceive the sublime beauty and precious rarity of water.
I found the desert fauna and the insects interesting while I was in Flagstaf Arizona. I was about to grab one of these before some one gave me a dope slap.

I'd be pretty hot too if I were wearing black on a sunny day.
have you ever thought about having your car blessed by a priest?
it is cheper than insurance.... it is very popular in russia.
priests are ready to bless your car against an accident (10 us dollars) and for a special extra fee you can also have an anti-theft blessing.
I heard about home funerals yesterday, allowable in most American states now. Maybe it's a service for a family member.
honestly people i don't believe in 2009 some people dont use anti-persparint!
at least wash before coming to work......or going in a witnessing car group...wheeew!.
lady i work with has bo......in winter????
Just tell them!! If they care about their hygene they will appreciate it. If not they just might do something out of respect for others.
I was in an elevater in Boston one day. Crowded when the lift stopped and a woman got on. At the next floor everyone except myself got off. It was a faminine odor. I suggested she not go to work and get the problem checked/fixed before she embarrassed herself around coworkers who may not have the balls to say something. Her face turned red, but she said thank you.
that caffeine-saturated beverage that most people drink very hot first thing in the morning?.
there's a transplanted new yorker here who calls it "kuffy.".
any takers?.
Because I'm a New Englander, it's cawfee. Now I have to get in my cah and get me some.
i know as exjws, probably for the most, there was a secret freedom in watching horror films without thinking you would have a demon as a bed buddy.. i am not very fond of every horror movie, but i will watch those that have an intelligent side to it and is not gore for the sake of gore.
like "the ring" got me going when i first watched it, just like "the blair witch project" did, which is more about suspense.
anyway, i never saw any of the saw movies, so i am going to try to watch saw iii tonight, since it is on showtime.
Agreeing with Terry, you do get used to scariness as you age. It's now predictable in a scary movie. The last movie scene that made me jump was in Jaws, when Richard Dryfus was under water looking through a hole in the bottom of a boat. lol
I also agree with primatedave. Sound effects do play a role, a major role, IMO. Forbidden Planet was really scary for the sound effects, IE when the footprints started to appear and then continued up the ladder.

Nameless, I sent you a pm about Danvers State Hospital.
I forgot to mention a piece of irony from my employment there. There was a resident named Raymond. He, his father, mother and brother attended my KH. It had been 2 years since I was at the KH (at the time) so I had to ask my father if he knew why Raymond would be there. He was commited there after he set fire to the family home, a trailer, while his mother was still in it. His family and mine camped together many times. He was 2 years younger than me and one of the few friends I had when I left the org. I would never have imagined this from him. Possible proof of "You never know what goes on behind closed doors".
The irony is how he died when he was 30.

"4) "Session 9" (this is my favorite scary movie of all time. I hate David Caruso with a passion, but he actually worked in this movie. This film was as much about set and location and atmosphere as it was about story. Anyone into urban exploration of creepy abandoned sites will get off on this movie. It was filmed at the long-abandoned Danvers Asylum in Mass., which has since been demolished.)"
I worked at this hospital in the kitchen when I was 19. Many of the scenes were from the kitchen area. Working there was creepier than the movie.
my dog is grossing me out.
she is eating all of the locusts she can find!
they are alive and buzzing.
My dog eats all kinds of bugs and plants. She catches snakes and frogs and eats them too. She'll spit a toad real quick. 2 years ago she swallowed a bottle cap and it's still inside her. I can detect it with my metal detector.
