  on the handy ladies thread, i noticed that loubelle mentioned changing tyres..

  it's t-i-r-e.. also, a car has a hood - not bonnet.. and, it's organization - not organisation.. sheesh!.

  Good point on the plural. Still it doesn't look right. Maybe it should be society' ? I'll have to investigate.

  I have to say we used to get so pissed off over here that all the societys literature was full of American spellings and many a turn of phrase we would never use.

  Four pages on this thread and no one mentioned the misspelling in this sentence. lol

  i just do.. if a thread title has misspelled words or someone's rant has misspelled words, all i see are those ragged, misplaced letters all akimbo.. it's like watching early morning tv and i can't notice anything said by the fat woman who doesn't know how to dress for her figure.. i just think silently ... "you're fat and you dress poorly.

  he's a complete a$$ to my sister.

  it's sometimes very shocking how much of a jerk he is.

  when i say something, i get, "be careful cognac" and he's told me before that there marriage is none of my business.

  Your BIL needs counseling. He will never seek it on his own or at the request of his wife. ESPECIALLY since he's a JW.

  If he's physically abusive, she may never report it. ESPECIALLY since she's a JW.

  Even though she is your sister, she may have thoughts and experiences you cannot extract from her. Like, what goes on behind closed doors. JW or not. She needs to know what is considered abuse. She has to approach her husband and tell him this will not be tolerated. Or else!!

  hi everyone...i have a confession to make, i actually joined 5mths ago, but never came back to the site.

  ive had doubt for a few years now.. my parents came into the truth when i was a toddler.

  no other family members are witnesses.

  Yup, he lives in another country and you have this knowledge. Tell's me you haven't begun to move on. Focus on financial support for the children, and then focus on yourself. "F" him and anyone (reference JWs) who think nothing of your financial needs. Move on emotionally most of all. I don't think you'll find that in a JW atmosphere as well.

  I sound greedy but I wouldn't be asking for a mansion by the bay. Just the necessities for the children.

  Down the road, you'll find better love. No need to rush it.

  i was talking to a baptised friend, and they dont like the idea of me being on here..i told them that ive mentioned it to an elder and that a few know im here,afterall im heeding the warning .

  anyway, i explained to them that we are drawn out by our own desire,its whatever is in our heart....... hmmm did that come across ok???

  so what im saying is yes negative thoughts or comments whatever we are warned against can harm us but its up to us what we listen to and if our heart is right we shall remain in gods love.
