the lightbulb finally switched on in my wifes head
by betteroffdead inso i haven't been to meetings for close to a year( been to busy on jwd:d) my wife has been angry at the elders for awhile but still believes the doctrine somewhat.
i've been drop hints for awhile and she has agreed with what i've said.
cut to a couple nights ago i have her watch the national geographic on cults and applied it to witnesses and she was absolutely speechless, and she had the look of it has all been a sham on her face.

You guys have got to see this! Paul the heretic.

i've been saying for some time now that the new testament is suspect... in that none of the writings can be clearly attributed to the so called "gospel" writers... .
even with all that, i've never considered paul to be anything more than an nut case.

I have something to ask, about child molestation cases.
by dawg inok, so in the gilbert simental molestation case, the elders hid behind clergy client privilege.
but why didn't they want to speak out against a molester?
why did they not happily say,"yes, ole brother gilbert told us what he did"?

Next topic, ask her why you can get dis-fellowshipped for not going along with man made doctrines. The WTBTS seems to think they are God, because questioning them is "apostasy"... this clearly isn't biblical. -

Wobble, in some states, they have laws where the clergy can keep silent, in other states they have "reporting" laws.
