  WHO IS THE INJURED PARTY? What is wrong with this doctrine?

  in the garden of eden when both adam and his wife, eve rebelled against instructions from their landlord, jehovah.. "in the day you eat of it (the fruit) you shall surely die.".

  adam and eve ate of it.

  Terry, what little faith you have don't you know God is a mystery? I find it sad tha parents still teach the Adam and Eve myth to children. I beleive it makes people fell guilty of being born which I think is one of many reasons why so many people don't have much self esteem.

  why are there many witnesses who enjoy the organization immensely?.

  no matter what you tell them, they would not dream of leaving.

  I'm much happier today and a little bit more as time goes by. I think it has to do with learning my "authentic self". Wen you'r a jaydub they teach you to wear a social mask and wen your raised in it it's harder to discover who you realy are. My mother in-law is a second generation jw she has so many psychological problemes it's sad. My brother in-law also second gen. is an alcoolic on anti-depressents, his mother and sister are on anti -depress.his wife( my wife's sister) third gen. is freeking out. She is starting to question the WT I guess it's a good start.

  i have been inactive for about 3-4 years they want to meet with me(sure took them a long time) i'm not to sure what angle to go with.

  i definitively do not believe in the borg.

  any more but not too sure about the bible( still searching ).

  If you had to, what religion would you choose to be?

  you can answer this as seriously (lt) or as inanely (buttlight) as you like!

  i was reflecting having read someone's thread about blowing off non jw family that actually it would have been so much better if i had a larger family, preferably not completely jw saturated and this random train of thought led me to thinking that if i could choose i would be catholic, because then i would have a huge family, go to really nice gothic churches with lots of candles and tortured saints and be able to go to confession (instead of lt's mobile).

  also the colours of the whore of babylon always were a lot more enticing to me than the mild blues and undistracting beiges of the khs.. i think we all have religions which would suit our personalities so much better.

  Can a person be mad at "Jehovah and Jesus" and not be committing Blasphemy?

  i was always taught as a little child that to be mad at jehovah and jesus was like commiting blaspemy.

  so i held all my anger up until now that i am out of the wts and out of christianity(churches) and i am just furious at jehovah and jesus.

  i think they play many games with people that worship them.

  geeze, the memorial to remember your place in the organization jesus christ is next tueday i think.......anyone else getting roped into going besides me?

  i'm trying to talk my brother into going....just so i'm not the only slacker there.
