In line with what Pam said, if something fatal does happen to Michelle, they belong to some wacky religion, so like the Dubs, i have a feeling that he would be married within the year if something happened to her, just like the Dubs do, but, the only turn-off for another woman might be "all 'dem damn kids", but then maybe it won't be.

Jill Scott, heard her mention on a radio show, Sherri Sheperd mentions it quite a bit on the View, those in the NY, NJ, CT area who listened to WBLS in the 70-80's would probably remember Ken Spider Webb, he used to be my Ministerial Servant for years, he's on Sirius Radio now, still claims to be a Dub.

Well, I was never dunked in the water but of course we were more or less forced, I remember when I was about 11 years old when before my dad was in, one or two of the elders called me in backroom with my mother and asked if I was on the path to getting baptized or something, I guess they did that because that's about the time I started filling out the time slips, any one else go that with their local elders?

in 2000-2001 we had 2 witness stay at our house because they were building a new kh.
the experience was strange to see the least but the people were nice.today the jw's are not as nice.. does anybody have similar experiences..
One thing I've noticed about the JDubs who come to visit you from out of town (at least the ones who stayed at my parents house) is that they always brings someone else with them, sometimes they mention the person and sometimes they didn't. Maybe they think that Jah's loving people could never be put out by one more loving servant of the cult. One should never assume those things.
Even on an afternoon outing, I noticed years ago (may still be going on though) that the young folks traveled in packs. When one Sister that used to do my hair and I decided to go to the movies and a dinner with her sister (not a JW) a few of the "packrats" thought they were invited too, but since she was using her fiancees car at the time he had to tell the hangers on that they weren't invited, no common sense and/or social skills I guess.
i have been hitting a brick wall trying to pry my boyfriend away from this stuff.
it just makes me cry that it's so obvious to me how wrong it is, and he's not even batting an eyelash.
he knows about all of the scandals, all of the false prophecies, the coverup of sexual predators, that elders tell abuse victims to stay with their spouses, that they dishonestly use sources, and he just doesn't care.

Are you a Witness? I kinda get the feeling that you're not since you're here on this board, unless you're doing a slow fade or something but, if you're not a true Jehovah's Witness he shouldn't be dating someone who's not in "da troof", so if you're not part of the Borg why is your boyfriend dating someone out of the organization which is a pure no-no for them? If that is the case I guess he's not 100% a witness anyway!
