When witnesses thought everyone was out to get them, I think they viewed that as their persecution, which the Bible says would happen to those who preach the word or whatever, can't remember exactly but that's what my mother thought.

Anyone Celebrating Halloween this Year???

took the kids (they were both princesses) and my nephew to 3 different events.

by confusedandalone ini just got in from my daughters homecoming(she is a cheerleader and these guys make a huge deal out of this stuff).
they play 3 football games of various age groups.
it starts at 8 in the morning and just ended at 1:30. i just got in the house literally 5 minutes ago and i had to share.

no birthday celebration after all
by losingit innew boyfriend is upset bc an old boyfriend when i was a teenager is on my fb friend list and wished me a happy birthday.
was supposed to go to turkish embassy for cultural celebration.
my first birthday in years, and total freaking meltdown.

What's new for the JW Pioneer is robocalling, and I received my first JDub robocall about 7 or 8 years ago, since I wasn't home to receive the call it was left on my machine, I don't recall if my name was specifically mentioned in the call, but I know the caller mentioned her name, which by the way, she was the sister in law of someone I used to consider a friend. I wonder how they count time for that, oh, I know, I guess they had to actually dial the separate phone numbers and hit the play button on their recorder or something. . . who knows but you damn sure know they counted time for that.

Participating on Assembly Programs and meetings... the hypocritical things that go on
by confusedandalone ini was thinking the other day about how i use to marvel at the idea of being on a ca or do program!
when i was starting to get myself together so to speak i wanted to be one of those guys always giving the powerful talk to shut the assembly down.
the one talk every spoke about in the car ride home.

THe thing about it is all religions have members and clergy that do the same thing the JWs do, but they don't knock on your door with their smug attitude claiming that they are the only true religion, only the JWs do that which make it more hypocritical and disgusting.
