a pioneer sister from our hall emailed me to inquire what was preventing me from attending the meetings, and asked what was holding me back from going.

You are so right! I'm almost out for having doubts. I'm just waiting for the final curtain call. I'm trying my best to deter disfellowshiping by getting legal advice. They are out to take me down seriously. It is frustrating to defend yourself against this organization. They really mean business.

Run, Watchtower, Run

i watched an entertaining german film on cable last night called run.

lola, run.

the plot revolves around how a young woman named lola has 20 minutes to come up with 100,000 marks or her boyfriend gets executed by the mob.. the film cleverly replays a 20 minutes running scene in which lola reacts differently each time to things which happen on her run(s).. one incident has lola nearly knocking down an old woman pedestrian as she rounds a corner.

In the Brady Bunch movie there is also a part where they mention the Jehovah's Witnesses. But it true there is no other group that is targeted so much as the witnesses. Funny!!

friends, my heart is a little heavy at the moment.

someone i met on witnet last year is having struggles.

i will not reveal his real name or location, but suffice it to say he is going through the worst of it now and needs your prayers or buddhist chants or whatever.. a little background, he first wrote me the below post, which i saved because i thought he had balls to write and question me, and i was a little paranoid, wondering if he was witnet thought police.. but, i sensed something different about him, that he really needed to ask questions.

I'm so sorry about your friend. Tell him that he is not alone. There are other here who are in the same boat. I'm an active elder trying to find the way of this cult. I still have family in this org. who are very devoted. Read my story later on today and what exactly is happening in my life.
