Lilacs:
Damn! I guess my only hope would have been to replace my blood entirely with Vodka!
In any case, when I drowned I probably wouldn't have noticed.

In the couple of hours it took for the ship to sink, I would have drunk 197 Vodka Martinis, thus making my body completely immune from freezing. Then I would have swum the rest of the way to New York.

Found on the web....lol
A new craze is sweeping the youth of our nation. That craze takes the form of inspirational "WWJD" clothing and accessories. You can currently purchase bangles, bracelets, necklaces, T-shirts, baseball caps, sweaters and pretty much everything else emblazoned with the WWJD logo.
What's it all about? Well, whenever they are faced with a problem, crisis or personal difficulty, teens everywhere turn their attention to the WWJD item they are wearing. A brief moment of inner meditation on its message helps them to find a way around the problem, and overcome the situation in a spiritual, efficient and mostly humane manner.
Let's talk to some typical teens about their WWJD experiences.
So remember, kids, next time you're having trouble at home, school or in the street and need some Higher Guidance, just ask yourself:
Hee-Yaaa!
how do you feel about yourself?
do you struggle with what kind of person that you are?
do you feel happy, empty, or are are you apathetic?
Mouthy even had the worth to get a card thrown at her by Glen Howe....lolol

i have heard of this event before, and it was referred to in an xmas song.
it is consistent with what i know of that era.. in 1914, on christmas eve, british and german soldiers laid down their arms (they were in a battle) and celebrated christmas.
they exchanged gifts and celebrated together.
As I recall they also played a game of soccer together. Unfortunately some trouble broke out in the crowd and it lasted another four years.

i dont wish to offend anyone but this is what i think.a large number of people who leave the jehovahs witness movment become born again christians or join other religious groups.but is this a sign that many who have learnt that "gods chosen organisation" is wrong have not learnt anything at all?.
maybe the prospect of facing a future without a god , a divine purpose , and a faith just too much for some people to bear.but in joining another religious group are they not making the same or similar mistakes as before?they are still putting their trust in a ancient book written by people they have never met, interpretted by other people or by themselves, they have not maybe learnt to be analytical in their thinking and to withhold trust until reasonably solid evidence is provided on an issue.. although other religious may or may not be more harmful than jehovahs witnesses if lessons on thinking and reasoning have not been learnt then we could be open to many more errors of judgment in our lives.. so does the fact that many jehovahs witnesses join other religons show that they are just moving on rather than understanding why jehovahs witness are wrong and learning from it?.
maybe they dont fully grasp that the fudamental flaw to jehovahs witness , is belief in the bible as gods word only the second being following that through an organistation .if the bible is not gods word then all religions who follow it are flawed.. of course what other people choose to think or follow is none of my buisness and i fully respect other peoples right to believe what they want, but if this world is to progress and mankind to improve in thier dealings with one another then we can not all go round living in our own little fantasy worlds , we must be brutal with ourselves in checking why we believe the things we do and trying to align our minds with reality not fantasy.. this apllies to all aspects of our lives.but if we are not honest or open minded and reasonable enough to see there are some massive problems to the bibles authenticity and divine declerations how will we be able to make reasonable decisions in other areas of our lives?
Perhaps looking in another bath is the same as migrating to a different corner of the same box?
Why not think outside the box?

i was just thinking.
since christmas is about the birth of christ, i know dec 25 was not his birthday, probly born around late sept or early oct. i guess he wanted to be born right before the baseball playoffs and world series, just kidding.
it was the early christian church that appointed dec 25th.
LOL!
Clash says, in a contradiction of universally accepted history (apart from fanatical Calvinists):
Christians did not adopted the pagan religious day, no they did much more, the eliminated it, this includes the meaning of that religious day with its false religious doctrines and definitions and abrogate the celebration from the lands. In its place was a completely new and different holiday to celebrate the birth of God the Son come in human flesh.
Clash then quotes an article which says:
No wonder so many people miss Christmas. The simplicity of the birth of Christ is drowned in a sea of traditions, many being pagan in origin.
Clash is having difficulty understanding the concept of consistency. If Christians can adopt an existing celebration and many of its traditions without compromising their Christian principles or giving credence to the previous doctrines, so can Atheists.
If the celebration of December 25 is a pagan holiday to pagans, and the celebration of December 25 is a Christian holiday to Christians, then the celebration of December 25 can be a secular holiday to Atheists.

few people outside of publishers will ever read a jw yearbook,.
so the society is able to be more honest about their true feelings.
as published in them.. a case in point: the latest yearbook and what it says about 9-11.. here's some quotes:.
'Everyone brings us food,
hot coffee, and dry clothes, but you are the first to read a
scripture.'
That they print this as a self-recommendation shows just how skewed thier sensibilities are. Unbelievable.

There is a theory that one of Jesus disciples was in fact his hairdresser and should not have been called Mark, but Marc. This is contained in the newly discovered Dead Sea Scroll entitled "Permin' On The Mount."
