  Make your own meeting / field service schedual

  sunday: meeting from 9am to 11am then book study from 11 to 12 noon that same day.. wednesday: meeting from 6h30pm to 8h15pm and field service up to 9pm driving back home.. thats it !!!.

  had a dream last night about my self righteous step dad's jw ramblings...talking about things that didn't make any logical sense.....then i woke up, looked at my clock and it read 6:07 on the dot.....just thought it was kinda funny.

  I cannot wait for spring to arrive. It's been so cold here in upstate NY. This weekend temps are supposed to get up into the 40's! Heatwave!

  I planted so many bulbs around my property last year and I can't wait to see them come up. Thanks for the reminder that spring is just around the corner.

  Is that really true about Epsom salt? Do you think that my rodedendruns (sp) would like a shot of that?

  It is torture! The last time I spoke to my mom I called her an infidel and hung up. (1 Tim). They just push you to the point of no return. I am now in the process (again) of trying to get her to stop shunning the family. I have written two letters thus far but haven't sent either one and don't know if I will. You see, the shunning has been going on for about 5 years and I stopped trying to reach her about 3 years ago. The old scab got picked somehow and now I am trying again. I even thought of starting a bible study and then contacting her to say something like, "this doesn't even seem like the same religion it was in 1976 when I was DF'd". But, theres no way I could pull something like that off. I am sure I'd get the "new light" schpiel.

  My husbands observation...

  we were just discussing the whole thing about how only those jw's that live through the big a will be able to still be sexual beings and pro-create.

  he said that the society is useing our most natural desires to scare everyone into staying in the org and hoping, above all else to live through the big "a".

  and i was saying to him that if i still believed what they taught, i would kill him and my baby to save them.

  This is freaky. The other night I was talking with my sister about the letter I am sending to our mom who shuns us to try and get through to her. My sister said something to the effect that she does not want mom back in her life because she would be afraid for her children. I asked, how so? And she relpied that she would not put it past her (mom) to kill the kids so she could get them back at the resurrection.

  I told her that murderers wouldn't survive the big A so the point is moot. But I could be wrong because I used logic.

  Whats up with that?

  Why do people believe in religion?

  i still have a hard time wrapping my brain around this.

  for example why do so many believe in the bible when ample proof exists that negats its validaty?

  why not believe in zeus or jupitor, etc.

  i understand that a jw elder in western australia defected to the sda.. have there been other cases of elfers defecting to other religious groups.
