I've only ever had 2 relationships. The first one was with a guy 13 years older than myself, it lasted 17 years until he was cheating.

the whole rainbow thread piqued my curiosity.
i have often wondered how you know without speaking to someone if they are gay and you are not in a known gay place - like um brighton or the candy bar in london.. does anyone know of any other gay and lesbian symbols or signs?.
someone told me once that a ring on your pinkie was a sign - can anyone verify the truth of this?.
Some symbols that I know of are
an equal sign, bears, pink triangles. I don't know of the pinky ring thing. When I was much younger if your right ear was pierced it was suppossed to mean gay.
As far as being able to spot other gay people well, it's gaydar. Very hard to explain but it's sort of a feeling that I get when I make eye contact with someone.

10 years ago I received a letter from my JW mom "drawing a line in the sand"(let the shunning begin), I gave the boot to my cheating partner of seventeen years, I started a new career path and I lived in S. Fla.
Today, still shunned, no significant other, back doing bookkeeping and live upstate NY.
Oh boy, now I'm depressed.

a jw who works where i work saw a new age cd with an image of a rainbow on the cover, and immediately said "this is homosexual".
is this a widespread feeling among jw's, or fundamentalists in general?

Rainbows have become a gay symbol, who knew? Really sometimes I think I live under a rock. I bought a dog leash in rainbow colors because I thought it was pretty. I can't count how many times that leash has outted me.

This subject came up last night when I was talking with my sister. She roped in converted her now husband and they were married in the KH. That was the last time either of them stepped foot in a KH. Last night when I asked my BIL if he ever got baptised he said he did not remember. WTF! He must have but just blocked it out I guess or, maybe they are not really married! LOL
