  I got married yesterday!

  i've been posting on here for four years now, and so much has changed in my life.

  everything seemed to be going wrong then, but time has done wonders and things are real good now.

  lots of people on the board helped and supported me through that, as well as new non-witness friends that i made.

  RichieRih- instead of wearing suits, can we make it a clothing optional convention? and if so, can I just wear my lapel badge on my nipple?

  I second that! Clothing optional is the way to go. Also more dubie breaks will be required and of course more cookies.

  Blueblades, thank you for sharing that story. It was the first time I read it and it was very moving. I am now having a fresh start at the age of 47 due to the WT$ brainwashing.

  Hi Happydad! Nice tat!

  I was 42 years old when I got my first tattoo. My dad was a fisherman and after he died, I got a tattoo of a large anchor on the side of my left leg. I drew the picture myself then the tattoo artist (in St. Augustine, FL) made some changes and I love it. I will get another one after my mom dies, assuming she goes first of course. I just don't know what I will come up with for that tattoo, she shuns me. It will be something crazy and I will most likely place it near my heart.

  i was talking to my trying-to-exit-the-cult fraternal twin brother yesterday about life, the jehovah's witness cult, and our jw parents.. he repeated, calmly and succintly, that he hates our parents.

  i could not argue with him.

  i used to, being a parent myself.

  Seriously, sorry about the family problems but sorry to say me thinks this is only the beginning of your long hard journey. There'll be a lot more hate thrown at you. And as far as the past, I don't know why our parents beat us the way they did. What's done is done and can't be undone, right? Now do one, the other or both. (Deep breath) If you can forgive, then forgive. If not, learn from it. Which I'm sure you have.

  BTW, is your fratenal twin another hopeless hetero too? Don't be scared BrotheofNvr, I don't bite. Um, I mean, I don't leave marks. Plus, I've got a great getaway apt in the East Village.
