  Getting rid of books, bound volumes, etc.

  i've been inactive for about 10 years now, and its time for me to get rid of some of my wt stuff, but what do i do with it all???

  i have all the wt stuff on a bookshelf in a spare bedroom, but now i need this shelf space.

  what i most want to get rid of first are the wt & awake bound volumes.

  Told To Buy Emergency Kits ...Ever Heard of This?

  a couple months ago my jw mom told me that in all the book study groups for their congregation they were told to go out and by emergency kits because "things were getting so bad".

  i restrained myself from rolling my eyes.

  has anyone else heard of this happening?

  actually, i was still going to meetings when hurricane katrina hit. it was weird that the local needs the week before katrina hit was "what to do in case a hurricane hits" of course, it was a shot in the dark and they got lucky, but this did happen.

  i make emergency kits every year...for hurricanes. why would witnesses need them? wouldn't jehovah provide for "his people" during armageddon?

  okay i am getting messages from gay exjw site message board that ray franz is back at meetings.

  i cannot imagine this has a fragment of truth... has anyone heard about this?

  can verify or otherwise?

  i have been in touch with ray franz. i am writing a book kind of like his, and we have been talking. he is not going to meetings. in fact, he just had a major stroke and can barely move. this is a false rumor.

  Noisy Neighbours - what do you do?!

  okay so here is the scenario:.

  i finally acquaint myself with the "floating ship" that is my four poster bed about 1.30 am, finish watching a favourite lullaby horror movie - wolf creek and close my eyes.. minutes later a door slams right next to my ear and then another and what sounds like a gaggle of adolescent girls (reminiscent of the current manless debacle that is big brother uk this year) screams their way into the flat next door at high volume.

  they are talking so loud i can hear every inane word they say.

  well, if your worried about a break in, get a big dog, or, do what i do. get a really big gun, i have a dessert eagle .50 and casually clean it on the front porch in plain sight, while smoking a cigarette and mumbling to yourself. when they come out, don't even take the cig. out your mouth and scream, KEEP THAT F'IN NOISE DOWN!!!!!!!!!! this works for me, of course, i am 6'7" and 280 pounds, so, maybe that's it. lol

  sent a letter to mom 4 days ago, came back today stamped "returned" on it... she wouldn't even open it... it had some nice comments in it too.

  stupid blanking cult, blinds the eyes of folks so they won't even read what we have to say.
