last time i went to jail, they had 1 other white guy in the holding cell with me. he had a wife beater on and nazi tats all over. i tried to stay away, but, of course, he had to talk to me. i told him to get the hell away from me before he got us both killed. moron.

i've been invited to join the freemason's. the story behind this happening is this. i was talking to a guy i know very well, and i noticed he had a masonic emblem {the compass and square} on his ring. i asked him about it, explaining about how i was interested in learning about them because of russel. we talked a bit about it, and i did some reading. from what i've read, they seem pretty interesting. i amthinking of joining. does anybody know much about them? other than the origins of demonism and crapt like that? does anybody know one? are they happy with it? it's crazy, but, since i got interested in joining, i've met at least 10 of them, and they all say they are very happy with it, and it's the best decision i can make. anybody have any PERSONAL experience with them?

Dateline show about Vietnamese in post-Katrina New Orleans

the other night, stone phillips did a piece on how the vietnamese community has returned, re-built, and prospered in new orleans.

in an area called new orleans east there is a large vietnamese community.

most are catholic and attend the "our lady of vietnam church".

1033 killed during katrina. 2 things contributed to this. complacancey, and reliance on the government.

the majority of people here are very self reliant. espically us cajun boys. lol too many inner city people have relied on the government their entire lives, and expected the same thing when katrina hit. the problem was, the government aid was stretched beyond it's limit. most people don't hear the inspirational stories that came out of that storm. that doesn't make for good news.

the complacancey issue affected everyone. even me. i almost didn't leave. we had left so many times before with nothing happening, we felt this would happen again. i almost stayed. thankfully, my mother talked some sense into me. my condo on the lake was completly wrecked by a tornado. i would have died.

it's making me want to rush the convincing of my wife - i want confrontation now, and i want it to go good, and i want her out with me!

how can you folks do this to me... before starting on this site i was just trying to get by myself w/ my decision - see what you've done!!!!

now i'm convinced i have to talk to her and make her see what i see!!
