Disturbances at Assemblies
by freedom96 ini remember hearing over and over about how wonderful it was to be gathered together at the assemblies, and how the brotherly love flowed, and everyone got along.. they would comment that where else could you get 10,000 and more people together where there was so much peace and unity.. we were flat out told there was no where that this occured.
that wordly people could never have that many people together, then riots would happen, fights, drunken idiots etc.. well, i have been to many busines seminars, where there are thousands of people, and they never get out of hand.
i have been to many concerts with thousands of people there, and they don't get out of hand.. how egotistical these power witnesses are to think they are the only ones that can get along peacefully.. i know there are cases of fights, or something at large events, but there has been things like that at assemblies too.. has anyone here seen fights, or disturbances at assemblies, or large witness gatherings?

Oh My!!!! i'm terribly flattered
Dutchie, i had an absolutely wonderful time shopping for your gift--i truly hope you like it. FOR CRIPES SAKES, OPEN IT ALREADY!!! i'm surprised it got there so quick. go ahead, rip that paper off like an excited little kid would do knowing that will bring a smile to my face.
Sirona, i'm still young and my life is a blank page. i'm happy with the choices i've made so far and only time will tell what my future will bring. my sister has taught me a valuable lesson that life cannot always be planned and if you try, sometimes it just doesn't turn out the way you think or want it to. as for now, i do my best to be a good worker, friend, aunt, sister, daughter, grand daughter, and niece. i'm very independent and have no qualms about supporting myself. down the road, when i marry the right man, it would be wonderful to raise a child or two who can be a productive member of society. other than that, i'm pretty low maintanence and take life as it comes. ok, enough of my ramblings.
you all are so wonderful--i'm still blushing!!

people are already screaming that the jackass movie should be pulled from theaters.

personally i saw the movie and laughed my a$$ off. and frankly, i'm with Adam. it's time to stop blaming everyone else for your problems. take some responsibility. if this kid was in high school, surely he's already had basic science courses. it's quite logical that gasoline and matches are a bad combination if you're wearing either. DERRRRR!!

after september 11 i got into a heated argument with my mother about immigrants. i really thought the government should deport anyone who isn't a citizen. don't know that my thoughts have changed much.....call me igornant or whatever you want. i pay taxes to live here and follow the laws. if you want to do the same, welcome--if not, get the hell out!!

Wasted Time
by JH indo you feel as if you spend too much time on the computer.
only 10 years old, and it changed the life style of many.
