  today i was sitting in the waiting room to get a check up and the other lady in there is sitting with a bound volume on her lap, studying her km, and she had a lil bible with her.

  i think it was in french, not sure i didn't speak to her because i didn't want to affect her blood pressure .

  i just felt so sad seeing her sitting there, racing, and instead of being able to relax a bit in the office, she had to sit and study, it kind of made me sick in the stomach thinking about all that running around we had to do.

  as i write this, we're having another day of a grade red ozone alert.

  in simple terms, our air quality is terrible.

  i'm sure alot of you will think i'm totally crazy for living up here in the great north. yes it gets cold, yes it's snowy--but a more beautiful, diverse place i can't really imagine. this is the lift bridge in the Duluth Harbor on Lake Superior.

  OMG!!!!!!!!! i didn't think those would ever get posted!! let me just say that i had a bit to drink that night.....travis, you'll be glad to know the whole smurf thing, that might explain why it burns when i pee btw animal....they're grey as for you heaven, you should have been there to watch out for me!! heehee

  just a question to you parents out there.

  i've never had teenagers before, so i'm kinda new at this.

  my eldest daughter is 17 this month...and we have discussed the 'pill'.

  my sister and i were talking the other day about things we feel like we missed out on as teenagers. sex was definitely not one of the things we thought we missed out on. it was more just dating, prom, school activities--things like that. i can't even imagine having sex, let alone in my parent's house, as a teenager. at that point in your life, you have so much going for you. the rest of your life is a blank page, the consequences that sex may possibly bring--i don't think you can fully realize as a teenager. i guess i can't offer any real suggestions because i'm not a parent, but i was a teenager not that long ago. looking back, i'm glad i waited into my 20's for sex. i was much more prepared for the 'what ifs'. must be a complicated situation........looking back, i think the kids in our family would have been too busy to get that serious with someone--we all had part-time jobs (usually worked 30 hrs/wk), high school full time and kept up on homework and good grades. if you think about it--there are plenty of other things to keep you 'occupied'. just my two cents....

  WTS CD-ROM Question

  just wondering if any of you know how far back the publications are archived in their discs, and if anything has been purposely left out, or 'overlooked'.

  i want to pick up the complete set, and 'collect them all!'..

  as for a donation, what do you suggest i donate when i try to pick up one of these gems?
