Mr. Flipper here. R.F. It's nauseating how for years now the elders and gb have thought they actually are the right hand of God. The fact that when they give personal opinions when giving counsel to others about problems is a strong indicator that they value their opinion over anything written in the Bible. Many times counsel is given in the shooting off the hip fashion based on some twisted interpretation of their Watchtower articles,and nine times out of ten it can't be validated by the Bible. They are conceited, arrogant assholes who value there own takes over God's word. I get pissed just talking about it. Mr. Flipper

Watchtower Magazines just as important as Bible?
by R.F. ina few months ago during the wt study, the conductor was sharing a point with the audience and he made a sickening statement..... he said that the watchtower is of the same level of importance as the bible.. now i was sitting there thinking, "you've got to be kidding me!!!
" but i look over the audience and i see alot of the audience nodding their heads in agreement.. so a magazine that has contained spurious garbage throughout the years that is subject to change at the governing body's bidding is as important as the bible???.
this is why most jws can't explain their beliefs with the bible alone, and how the organization can put on the facade of having strict adherence to the bible when the fact is that they have their doctrines then they make the scriptures conform to them.. even when jws do bible reading alone their minds are so jammed with wt dogma that they really aren't unlocking the scriptures as they should.

frankly i was surprised to see an edler at my home .

Locotus, Mr. Flipper here. Good move!! Glad you encouraged that young lady that way. My 22 yr. old son had to move out from my ex-wifes overzealous witness house to be with me his fading father to have a chance at an education when he was 18. He was fading too, so he didn't mind. He was only too happy to get away from the over control. This young lady may have to do the same in order to have the freedom she needs to go to college. Otherwise heavy handed parents might try to interfere. Hopefully not. Peace, Mr. Flipper

by flipper ina friend of mr f heard a story on kfbk sacramento radio news a little after 8 this am...3 people in woodland ca received their settlement money, and 7,000 others have come forward with accusations.

by minimus ini have read of some people's bitterness because they were denied the opportunity to go to college.
during the 60's and 70's the society really discouraged any education other than what was necessary.
since the end was so near, especially around 1975, anybody that decided to go to "higher education" was considered very weak and unbalanced.

Minimus, I too have alot of resentment towards the org. for not encouraging college in the 70's when I graduated high school. Was raised in the "false" from birth so Dad being an elder since the 1950's didn't push college. Pushed me to pioneer after high school. Had a 3.5 gpa so I could have accomplished something, as opposed to being a Janitorial psychologist, as I've been for 25 years now. But my revenge is I have helped my 22 year old son, also a nonjw to get through college financially and he works for me. So I feel a little justice has happened. Peace, Mr. Flipper

Frank 75, thanks for your post. I agree that alot of preteens have tampered with each other physically like you say, just experimenting. We've all heard of that. But I do want to add that for the most part in the United States, any adult 18 or older who has sex with a minor under 18 , it is considered statutory rape and punishable by prison. Take a look in the media the last couple years of schoolteachers male and female who have been caught having sex with their 14, 15 or 16 year old students.It's not acceptable to this society. It's an abuse of the power position they have as the students teachers. Some of these teachers vary in age from mid 20's to 50. As has been mentioned by others, alot of times it's about abuse of power, in the homelife, school, or elders in the congreagation, they take liberties with minors they have no right to. It's sick, anyway you want to slice the pie

Well I guess 4 years ago I did make the right decision in stopping my associating with them then. God knows I wouldn't want to be caught associating with child molesters or those that hide it. Very true Ninja- psychologists have always said that children 99% of the time tell the truth when coming forward about being molested. They rarely if ever are lying about it. The true liars are all the mindless clones in the congregations who aren't willing to acknowledge their "dear GB or elders" would ever do something so hideous as to molest children. Mindless saps.
