Do you know how strong you all are?
by jgnat ini'm thinking this morning at the enormous effort required to leave the witnesses.
that you all found your way here is amazing.
you are a select group of strong people, who will not allow life or any organization to knock you down.

Thanks all of you for you replies. Bigdreaux , I totally agree with you on David Gilmour. To me he has a very subtle smooth touch for electric guitar as Stevie ray had also. Could let it rip, but be so smooth too. Awesome! Wanted to throw in a couple of other guitar players deserving an honorable mention for our should I dare say new age/ jazz friends. Checked that scene out too. Strunz and Farah a Iraquian and Cuban guitarists were hella quick with their hands, also new age guitarist Ottmar Leibert deserves a little note here, saw him live in Sacramento early 90's very good also. Any more? Keep the comments comin"! Seems like a lot of you like what me and Mrs. Flipper like! Cool. Let's all get together for one big jam session! My 22 year old son plays guitar. I don't, but have been told I can carry a tune! Peace out, Mr. Flipper

Well my grandpa just died...
by bluesbreaker59 inso, i get the call today from my aunt, who still speaks to me, and she fills me in, and tells me the visitation is friday (i'm not going), and the funeral is saturday.
my dad told her that he wants me to "sit with the family".
i never went to pay my last respects to him or talk to him, because he was an elder forever, and i was told he wouldn't speak to me, so i never went and never sent a card, nothing.

Bluesbreaker, Mr. Flipper here. So sorry for your loss. Man, just act like a normal human with normal human compassion for relatives. Give hugs, cry with those who cry. Act like there is no difference between your dub relatives and you. Because during this moment there is no difference. You are all grieving, be yourself, don't let them make you who you are. Be strong my friend. Peace to you and yours. Mr. Flipper

Thanks so much you guys for your responses. I will try to give her a nudge gently in this direction to send at least a thank you card to her 80 year old grandmother or an acknowledgement. A lot of good advice thanks. Open to more if you have it. Peace, Mr. Flipper

Dearest Vomit, that was outstanding!! Thanks for posting it. I especially liked the attempted interview of Ted Jaracz at the end. One sick dishonest lying you know what isn't he? Please spread your work far and near. I'm in total support of this! Hey, here's a thought. Make copies and send to the gb or congregations. Or slip em' in kingdom hall front doors. Am I too excited? Someone needs to blow the cover off!! Good job!. Keep doing it. Any way I can get a personal copy of your cd? Pm me will you? Thanks, Mr. Flipper

Seeks to Find- Mr. Flipper here. Not suprising at all that they'd pull this right now . The governing body is really nervous about information getting out of their molestation settlements and coverups, among a number of other crises in their organization at the moment, the blood transfusion lawsuits brewing in Canada among other things. Since they always taught us that Satan attacks the young and inexperienced, it stands to reason they would try to control how much young people are using the internet with such things as myspace. Since they have addressed this situation in their kingdom ministry it must really be a problem now, trying to convince their young people to stay in the organization. A mind is a terrible thing to waste, and to make sure young ones don't use their minds, they want to control them. All young ones, keep rockin' in my space, yeah! Peace out, Mr. Flipper P.S. Let's bring down cultism and mind control!!

Hello folks. Mr. Flipper here. My two daughters, both jw's are 20 and 19 and the oldest got married last April, the youngest in May. Because of my not attending meetings and fading, neither one or their husbands would let me walk them down the aisle, which hurt of course, because I always was close to my girls, but myself and Mrs. Flipper showed respect and dignity and attended the weddings and gave gifts, etc. wishing them well. I just want their happiness. I'm a big boy and got over it. But through the years my ex, their mother( from whom I've been divorced 9 years) has tried to influence the girls in manners, respect, and courtesy more than me, simply because I haven't been allowed to be with them as much to help them learn these things. Well, now my 80 year old witness mother is wondering why my youngest daughter has not sent out thank you cards to any of the family, myself included for gifts given. it's been 2 months and I'm thinking of calling her and gently reminding her to do so. I had to call my witness daughter last year to do the same thing. I have a fading 22 year old son who shows more appreciation than either of my active witness daughters do for people's hospitality to them. I try to explain to my mom that my ex has that mentality of who can I use type thinking, lack of courtesy and manners, and I've told my mom I haven't been allowed to be an influence as much as I'd like on their emotional and manners and social skills development as I would have wished. Any suggestions? Should I just go to my daughters and read them the riot act? I know that's not the answer, but it's how I feel sometimes. I welcome your thoughts. How do you create appreciation in young people today? Thanks all, Mr. Flipper
