Hi Balaams Ass
Everyone here would be delighted to read your experiences and views. The higher up in the organization you were, then generally the more you have to reveal. Many of us served as elder, and as such have a slightly deeper insight into the mechanics of the organization.
Like others, I would just caution you about revealing to much so as to identify yourself if it is likely to cause you or your family trouble.

Hair, or the lack of it, is a major concern to men of 'a certain age'.
Personally, getting pretty thin on top now but not as bald as many men my age! Have to count my blessings.

Guantanamo Bay Suicides - a PR Move
by eyeslice inquote from bbc website .
a top us official has described the suicides of three detainees at the us base at guantanamo bay, cuba, as a "good pr move to draw attention".
colleen graffy told the bbc the deaths were part of a strategy and "a tactic to further the jihadi cause", but taking their own lives was unnecessary.

RachelHall - if one innocent person is being deprived of his liberty, the love of his family and his life in Guantanamo, then Guantanamo is an injustice. You cannot justify its existence on the basis that there may/may not be some pretty evil people held there.

Guantanamo Bay is in the 'here and now' - the 21st Century!
If mankind is too become 'more civilized'in the future we must learn a way to work out the problems caused by deep seated differences.
The west, Bush and Blair in particular, hold up their way of equity and justice as the model the rest of the world should follow. Principles of legal representation, a person being innocent until proved guilty are not to be found in Guantanamo.

Has the Kingdom Interlinear Translation been pulled off the shelves

Interesting thread!
In some ways, the fact that the Kingdom Interlinear is rarely ever consulted, and appears now to be out of print, backs up my assertion that the WTB&TS is less and less interested in doctrine and theology - only interested in rules and regulations.
I keep my copy of the Kingdom Interlinear and the Emphatic Diaglott to hand. It is interesting that the Kingdom Interlinear seems to be totally based on the Diaglott. The Kingdom Interlinear looks a bit of a rip-off to me.
