  well, it's been some time since i've posted.

  a lot of you have encouraged me to live my life without the shackles of wt and i have begun to do so - doing what i want to do in my life.

  it is a lot of fun not looking at people and judging them because their "worldly" - they're human beings!!!

  Multiple witness question

  hello all.. i read a post on the forum about the two-witness rule and how without it, basically an accusation cannot stand.

  could someone, preferably elders/ former elders explain in detail why it doesn't stand if that is true?

  i know why for obvious reasons, but we're talking about how it works in witness world.

  it was suggested that i read up on the history of jw.

  i have begun my research and would like to just say that it is very disturbing.

  "Unofficial" disfellowshipping?

  have any of you or anyone you know been "unofficially" disfellowshipped?

  or has anyone on here who is/ was an elder "unofficially" disfellowshipped anyone?

  for lack of a better term.

  first time posting, long time lurking.. came upon this site on accident a few years ago and dismissed it as a site for disgruntled people; however, in the past months i actively searched for it as it stuck in my mind.

  believe it or not, i practically read all of the topics.

  i felt, wow, i wasn't alone in my thinking and feelings about some things.. it all started years ago in my last year in high school and then into college.
