i know other people started threads on this, but you know me, mr. analyze this, analyze that , what do you guys feel personally thankful for in this time in your life ?
lots to be thankful for , to be sure.

I am thankful for my daughters, family, friends and my wonderful bf (who is the best!),
I am thankful that I can still walk and am not in a wheelchair.
I am thankful that I am using my mind to think for myself.
I am thankful for so many things that are impossible to list.

so i've been reading up many things gnostic (i know, better late than never right?
) and when i read about their theory on jehovah my jaw just about dropped to the floor and i found it to be a very interesting and intriguing that in many ways made sense with how jehovah was/is portrayed by the jw's.
I don't know a lot about Gnosticism, but I read "Jehovah Unmasked" by Nathaniel J. Merritt which deals with Gnosticism a little bit. That book fascinated me because it explains the sharp difference between Jehovah, the God of the Old Testament and Jesus' father, the God of the New in the only way I can reconcile the difference in my mind.
it's too damn cold for my liking!
all the people that have real winters will laugh, but mid 30's to lower 40's is despicably cold by oregon standards .
to make things that much better, the furnace in the house where i live died on monday.
We had a little bit of snow yesterday, only half an inch. It's all gone now, though. Low 30's this morning, 38 now.

i heard the other day on the radio that gas (in the us) was up 81 cents/gal.
from this time last year.
i am sure the 2 at the beginning of the price of gas on the sign is about to be as extinct as the dodo bird.
I hated field service, but thought I was the only one who hated it. I, literally, used to pray to Jehovah that nobody would be home as I was knocking on the doors. Talk about guilt!
i got 85% in my first assignment - arts and humanities and i enjoyed every minute of it.. the best part is that my jdub hubby and i have new enjoyable interests in common as we have found that we both like visitng art galleries and other leisure activities.. thank you all for helping me get here so quickly.
of course that isn't to say that everything is all plain sailing (far from it) but its nice to feel out of the woods!.

I ended a 7 year relationship in 2004. The guy wouldn't leave me alone and wouldn't get that it was over. He kept calling me, sending me flowers, showing up at my house uninvited. I asked him to stop, begged him to stop, screamed at him to stop. He wouldn't. I changed my phone number twice to private numbers. He kept getting it. I had to get a restraining order against him. In court he annoyed the judge because when I was talking to the judge, he walked over to me twice even though she kept telling him to stay on his side. The restraining order made him stop finally.
