  Is it wrong that I do not wish to see my family?

  please excuse the ambiguity of this email, i am confused and unsure of my feelings about my family and have not seen them in a while now.

  my mum has tried to organise a visit but i have avoided going to see my family.

  i have seen my sister but the last time i saw her there was quite alot of upset (if you see my last family related post!

  Sorry. I'm glad you have a thereapist to work through your feelings on this. If they make you feel bad, I don't think you need to see them at all. You are conflicted though. What about meeting in a neutral place for coffee, or breakfast, lunch, etc. Something that will have a definite beginning and end time...(translated=short). The public place would help everyone be on their best behavior. When you're done with your coffee, etc, you leave.

  Had tooth pulled-tremendous pain

  yesterday i had an abscessed wisdom tooth pulled.

  the pain now is much more severe then before it was pulled.

  the worst pain is where the dentist gave me the local injections-it hurts so bad!

  Ouch. I sympathasize. Tooth pain is horrible! That is really disturbing that he wanted to re-use the gloves. If he was making a joke, it was a very bad one. Over the counter ibuprophen (advil) around the clock works much better than vicodin on tooth pain as it is also an anti-inflammatory. You could also have what is called a dry socket. I would call him, or another one, and get it checked out.

  I am trying to understand my cat

  like i said on a previous thread, this is my first cat.

  this cat always follows me around and demands to be petted all of the time.

  he wants to be carried all of the time.

  People don't own cats. Cats own people. He is marking you as his. He also loves to play. You've got a great cat there. I think he must have lots of personality. Enjoy him.

  Some cats hardly ever acknowledge their people.

  I went to the doctor today and was told I'm going to hell!!!!!!!!!!

  i went to my gp today.

  i go there quite often since he's also my parent's doctor and i bring them to all their appointments.. i take my dad there at least once a month for blood work since he is on blood thinners, so i'm very familiar with the lady who draws blood.. today i had to have blood drawn myself, and the lady inquired about my parents.

  she asked if they had had a nice christmas.

  iam now as what was announced at a recent meeting that iam "no longer a jehovah's witness" all of my family and friends are witnesses so this will ailenate me from all of my friends and family.

  but i feel like i don't want to go back.

  i really hate the feeling of isolation and shamefulness while iam sitting in the meeting, what's the point of it all.

  Welcome to the board. This is a great place for information, acceptance, support, and healing. I recommend you read Crisis of Conscience by Ray Franz. It will take away ALL your fear and guilt. There is a wonderful support group on yahoo for ex-JW women called Women-Awake that I belong to. You would be most welcome.

  If I gave you my word, I can be trusted 100%, but I wouldn't just blanketly promise to do something without knowing what it was first. If I couldn't do it, I would keep my mouth shut, too.

  This is true about the hypnosis techniques used at meetings and I have also read that it applies to the bible study format as well.
