Whole day ruined because it's a meeting night?
by veen inat some point nearly every day of the week was soiled by the prospect of some 'spiritual' activity.
it took me years of inactivity before i started seeing tuesdays and thursdays as enjoyable, without a shadow hanging over them.
wednesday was always my favorite day of the week.. .

Sleeping your life away?
by sweetface2233 in"life is too short", "carpe diem", "eat, drink, and be merry...", "never put off till tomorrow..." we have all heard these phrases, taken them to heart, and burned ourselves out on the stress from them.
i say...screw that shite!
the only thing keeping me from jumping out the window of my 6th story apt or driving my car into the back of one of the metro buses on the beltway is knowing that, if one of those actions do take place, i won't be able to nap that afternoon.

Naps have become an addiction to put of reality which I've found confrontational and stressfull but mainly draining and confusing and unhappy!
I can lie and switch to sleep mode and all biological requirements save peeing will not upset my rhythms! And no I am not relaxed right there - so I hate the bathroom disturbance!
But yeah - sleep is an escapism but not recommended unless you are just existing - in which case it is one way of passing and putting off all the garbage you have no idea how to move till who knows when!
I'd like alternatives but can't pretend I had them! One time I would be up and on with stuff 7 days a week like some factory engine but I think my big end bearings went! lol
The sleep you speak of soundsslightly more euphoric and I must admit I aint been there for many years - long story - mine is more like a diving bell into the deep ocean and seeing bioluminant life forms!

I know at least some women approaching 50 or over who will take home 20 yr old at the end of a night when the testosterone is raised and females are thin on the ground! And often too = I'mgonna die with memories! What can I say??
So all the 40 somethings men are homealoners - (Dastardlys Mutley required here)

All the talk of new light gives each person a private space into which they can psychologically hide any hunches they have that they may be the only one who has worked out new light and mustn't tell anyone!
I recall lots of mutant ideas I started to work out to try and make 'personal sense' of the avalanche of ill logic coming at me under gods watchfull eye!
Weird really!
Oprah is right - let god outa the box or the genie outa the borrle! Rub hubbies lamp and your wish is hois command!

Do you hum?
by Layla33 ini do and sometimes i do it when i am happy, when i have had a good meal, when a friend is on the phone and they went to do something - it's my musical interlude.
i think some people hum without noticing it.
i also used to hum to my brother, it was our way of communiting when we were young and a game we played where we would hum a tune and then each of us would try to give a verse.

I must say I hum like a mower in a lush meadow!
And I like the odd song in a bar-room!

Evolving underclass
by R.Crusoe inhttp://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/technology/technology.html?in_article_id=489653.
it is evident that many of us wish to preserve any advantage we have over the downtrodden, suffering and poor in health!.
so, considering the future is likely governed by enhanced health benefits for those who can afford it, rejecting those who cannot because it likely means they will end in the same situation, could well mean evolution of very different human societies both physically as well as otherwise..

That's my understanding Watson, but being detached I am never certain and since they roll around in the mud so much its tough to see what they're up to.
When their prophecies lie tied within their R&F what's not to believe for future converts?
Chess moves on the next generations of followers!

God Will Kill You If You Don't.......Quotes Needed
by Poztate ina close friend recently told me that the door to door ministry was a "voluntary work" that they only did out of love and concern for the people.. i said that i thought was a required part of being a jehovah's witness and if they did not witness to people the old rule was that they were blood guilty and gawd would kill them at "a".
i wouldn't mind a quote or two as to the facts.
i have been out for over 25 years but i still think that is the opinion.

Amazing really!
That's exactly how it was - like if you have any love for god you will go converting others like in the days of Noah who had to relieve himself of the bloodguilt of gods wrath ( not that it was gods fault they perished you understand - or that god coulda just appeared to everyone and said it up front and on the level - oh no - you gotta listen to the guy with the woodyard!!)
So yeah they are IMO making claims which relieve themselves of any legal accusations that they insist followers preach!
So I suspect the reality is that all JWs know it is expected even though the official line is 'volunteering your love for gods will' - now there's a convention theme for ya!!

How important are looks to you?
by Layla33 ini am just curious how much looks and superficial things plays a part in your decisions in life.
i work with a young lady, she could be my daughter, well if i was young and out there early, and she's fresh out of college, from a sorority and let's everyone know this.
anyway, she will only talk with, be friendly with the very good looking people in the office.

This is the question of all questions!
Do you live in a tinplate house or a mansion?
Do you drive an budget set of wheels or a gleamer?
Does the look matter?
Would you meet an unattractive pauper and make a life with them cuz their heart was gold?
Many of us spend our lives arguing for the underdog but will sleep with the 'hottie' if it smacks us in the face and blows our hormones outa the water!
Many spend our lives beefing up the rights the underdog and even feeling their pain whilst quietly envious of those who are in a position to take all they wish!
We each have an inner empathy combined with erotic romantic fantasy. And our reality determines how well we are enabled to explore each pathway of opportunity and how far we travel along each!
That's all I can say!
I'm less clear now about whether reality is more about ethics or more about personal opportunity for aquisition!
Like if a woman falls in love with me and an adonis unexpectedly happens in her reality, do I expect 'possession' by me to dominate or her opportunity for freedom to explore to become her reality?
How much do I wish her to maximise her opportunity for reality - even at my expense v's how much I want the reality she has available for myself if it were to happen? How much of my inner self is in fact the hypocrite? How many of my values are selfish expectations?
Is there an answer?
I convinced my soul it was love but now love may contradict its previous imagined morality! I am in flux and have no definition at present and so am attempting to surf the white water calmly but in a state of hypnosis over it all.
So ?? Good question??
