Mindfulness aka poppers headspace in a workplace and community appears a pleasant proposition in which exJWs may be inclined to positively respond to that question. In theory!

Are you a happy ex-JW?
by Burger Time ini was thinking it might be a good idea to come up with a website like happyexjws.com where we record a short video of ourselves saying we are now happy and briefly explaining why.
kind of like the atheist group who's members blaspheme against the holy spirit.
thoughts?.

It is surprising that various things can lead to mouth cancers and most end in fatality. It is also incredible that some people with all manner of ailment proceed through life with a psychology no one feels they understand. Maybe there are forums on which they share their emotion and thoughts. I'm aware that some communities seem happy and functional whereas an otherwise regular appearance individual can be quite the opposite. I believe this is down to the invisible cage some humans spend their lives in as part of The Human Zoo and societies poor inclusional hospitality or practice of tribal dominatrixes who insist everyone takes part lol! Maybe every community needs its fair share!

Mindfulness
by mavie inupon leaving the dubs i began to research how other cultures dealt with the big questions of life.
during this time i came across the concept of mindfulness, or being present.
how to let go of the past and future and take in life moment by moment, as it flows.

There is something powerful about being mindful of the second that you are in uncluttered by all memory and future. For those who make this a life choice, I imagine it is something different being together than when they are alone, but I will not ponder such an ambition lest I lose the moment that I am in alone!

Don't know if anyone saw Annie Lennox Life on Melvin Braggs South Bank Show but I recommend it to anyone who has felt the knives of humanity slivering their heart. It is excellent!

Now quietly leaving, it is an excellent thought so long as it is not utilized by hidden agandas to perpetuate what literature has already done for the illiterate. I like your thoughts! Alas I wonder whether there is not something in the illiterate silence of a tribal community which transcends all knowledge and understanding - where people are tuned into their inner selves and love each other for who they are. I do not know how to combine these two thingies!

The Black/African American Perspective on the Watchtower Organization
by XOCO ini was wondering if anybody has some input/suggestions on their feelings of blacks/a.a (no offences to ppl who are white and born in s.african or anything of that nature.
ok in xocos case i'm h***an/american (born in the us) and i grew up in a predominantly h****an kh so mostly black and few european ppl/decent that spoke the francophone lang (*hint, hint*) i've never knew what it was like to be in a predominantly caucasian kh (4 that 1 year i was living in the bible belt of fl,us).
it was different and ppl were mesmerized by the way i acted compared to other a.a. jw around their near by khs.

If anyone were to ask me what my heart says - it says that it sees colored skinned people in far more situations which include social touching and dancing and eating. It sees much less costly refinement but far more love and grass roots community bonding. But that is only my perception coming from a white background where I feel an utter lack of love and inclusion so I am aware that my perceptions may well be conditioned. I wonder what impartial studies of human behavior have concluded about such things. I recall that guy on UK tv (Bruce....) who visited some tribes around the world and saying how within weeks they made him feel completely accepted - something we seem to have lost - the will to grasp strangers and include them as one of us and mainly because we possible feel we have no culture to offer them. I think many young people feel lost and without a culture - both for themselves and to give to others - which I'm sure they would absolutely love to be able to do. Most humans want to please whenever possible.

Were You DETERMINED? Are you DETERMINED Now?
by AWAKE&WATCHING inwhen i was in the "false" i was determined to not let satan win by misleading me in any way.. now i am determined to not let them ( the evil wtbts) win by allowing the time i've lost keep me from really living what's left.
i consider that period of time to be a chapter of my life that i have to put behind me.
i started my bible study when i was only 21. i will be 50 in a few months and just got out in may of this year.. i will not let them win by ruining my life.. what about you?.

AW - and that doesn't mean I feel sorry for you - it is more complex than that, but I digress! You are having a positive wave and sending it forth. I hope it will not return to you without results. I hope your future prospers in the fruits of your heart and the same comes to others who hear your wisdom. I will try but am a seed in a dry, rocky place!

I know of relationships of complete un-reciprocated affection where after an hour of physical attention all one would hear would be, 'I wish you were a robot so you could carry on all night!' True story! Some of us though just needed a human! lol. So some people would love a robot - especially JWs who are on a good start with their brain being half robotic anyway!

Being human makes me feel regret. All the intellect and emotion we possess is continually turned on us to inflict pain with no letup. If God were to choose to be one of us it would be tricky because he would need powers to prove it to us which would sorta render him not one of us. If God were a woman all the guys would likely follow God and vice versa. So it would get a bit confusing. God would need to appear as God and give us some direction as to what and why stuff is expected. Education! Which would be more believable if it came direct and in real time because you'd be less inclined to waste a lifetime on beliefs that then go out the window!
