  i was raised a jw, by an inactive jw mom.

  looking back, and reflection on my childhood, causes me to wonder.. i honestly did not miss the holidays, for example.

  i never had them, so nothing was taken away in that regard.

  people in the usa are changing their eating habits already, and their driving habits of course.

  there are many fairly poor jw's in this country, many with no health insurance, old clunker cars and just barely getting by.

  the cost of so many things is getting ready to explode, especially consumables.....all delivered by ship, train, plane, and truck.

  has anyone ever done any gold panning or metal detecting?

  i saw a show on it not that long ago and it looked like fun - same as gem mining in nevada.

  The Butchering of the English Language.

  i am disturbed by the recent trend in the media in america that encourages the butchering of our english language.. i'm talking about examples of film titles like "she hate me", "how she move", & "baby mama".

  does it really take that much effort to add an "s" to the end of a word?

  now, before i am decried as a racist, please note that nowhere in any of my statements have i isolated any particular race.

  if and when this entire system collapse's one after another, (time zone) where will the org get the crew to clean-up?

  when the world traders centers and additional building collapsed at the world trade center, how many people did it take to clean it up?

  i'm talking about experienced engineers and demoltion crew, etc, etc, etc.?

  i was just thinking this morning about a lot of the judicial meetings i was in over the years.

  i was remembering how, if it involved immorality and a good looking sister, it would not be unusual for one of the elders to comment on that.

  I have my own house and additional large buildings on my property. My daughter pays rent (not much) and my sons have the bottom portion where they have their internet radio station,( Mohawk-Radio.com) I daily think of people having to cope with today's expenses and I just shake my head. What's happening to the middle class is scary, not to mention the poor. Things will get worse.
