What was jesus doing for the first 30 years of his life?

30 years is a long time in the life of a human yet little is written about this time frame,l wonder why?

If he was to be a corresponding ransom for Adam ,why was he born from an imperfect human in Mary ?

And then spend the next thirty years growing up ? Without contributing anything to mankind ?

Adam never had a childhood ,experienced puberty ,was nurtured by a mother ,or had a father figure as a role model .

Neither did he have siblings or other people around him to gain life`s experiences that molds one`s personality .

And he had no comprehension of consequences for disobedience to Jehovah`s requirements.

Why wasn`t JESUS created out of the dust of the ground as an Adult like Adam was ? and then start his ministry ?

That would be more of a comparison I could relate to .

now these ones face a sparse old age with little provision set aside.

The WTB&TS are registered as a charitable organization and yet their charity never extends to their own members in need. , Why is that ?

As an example , Members of Bethel ,who have served as volunteers for in some cases decades .So they have no insurance , no savings , no superannuation ,nothing to look forward to in old age , because they were told they would never grow old in their lifetime.

And when they do grow old ? and need assistance from the organization that has exploited them ? They pass the buck and put it on some unsuspecting Congregation to look after them.

They have Millions , if not Billions of dollars $$$$$ from sales of Real Estate in New York and also Branch offices in many parts of the world , yet they do not provide for their elderly members who have served them for many , many years , who they then discard .They put the onus on Congregations to look after them without contributing a cent .for their welfare.

Hashtag "BESTLIFEEVER!!"

is it just me or does it grind your gears when you see #bestlifeever hashtag after every damn jw post on fb and instagram?.

i rarely get on instagram anymore because i dont want to deal with the jw propaganda but i swear sometimes i just want to comment on one of those pics 'jw life is the worst life ever wake up already'.

does anyone else know what i'm talking about?

I got off FB because it seemed to me that everybody on it feigned that they were interested in everybody else`s post , while in reality it was all about me,me,me,and what i`m doing..

Swearing on the bible

..... i was always under the impression that one of the reasons jws couldn't do jury duty or go to court etc was that we were not allowed to swear on the bible.

..as in i swear to tell the truth the whole truth etc etc .

At the ARC we saw some W.T. representatives , G.B.member G.J.being one , swore on the Bible , while others , Elders , cited an affirmation to tell the truth , doesn`t that show you that the J.W.`s are confused as to how they should act in a court of law ?

They certainly did not present a united front.

Another generation....

it has been 21 years since the 1995 article that pretty much buried the idea of the '1914 generation'.. remember those guys?

the ones born in 1914 that would still be alive when the end of the system arrived.. i'm glad i'm old enough to remember going from door to door, preaching this belief.

the reason i say that is because i have a lot of 'still in' jw friends and family.

What other organization out their is so ashamed , embarrassed ,about their beginnings , early history that they go to such lengths to hide and bury the past.

Normally , organizations are very proud of their early beginnings and like to showcase them off.

Not Jehovah`s Witnesses

And when you compare what the WTB&TS does say on occasion about their past , with what they actually published back then , it becomes very evident they are re-writing history

It just doesn`t match up.

Shunning: is it still practiced?

are df, da and apostates still shunned?

are each treated differently?

i heard a secondhand report that they seemed to have eased up on this practice ...

Didn`t the J.W .lawyer , Vin Toole , when asked about shunning state words to the effect "i`ve heard of the word but I`m not sure what it means " at the ARC and he was under oath when he said that.

Vin Toole has been a J.W.for many ,many years here in Australia.,and he doesn`t know about the practice of shunning ? What a liar.

And this years District Convention has a specific part on Shunning Unrepentant Wrongdoers , in other words Jehovah`s Witnesses who don`t agree with the Governing Body

Who has made an unforgivable sin against the holy spirit?

we all sin and some sins are worse than others but blasphemy against the holy spirit is said to be unforgivable.what is considered to be an unforgivable sin?

I don`t think J.W`s / G.B. have ever defined what exactly is the unforgivable sin have they ?

I remember a question from readers 20+ years ago , somebody asking about that and the answer was if your asking the question and concerned about it , you obviously haven`t sinned against the Holy Spirit .

I have been out for more than twenty years so maybe things have changed. Yes ? No ?

Satan & Disasters

was told by someone that a receipt article eluded to the fact that satan can cause natural disasters.

That`s right , blame all the disasters whether they be natural ,on Satan the Devil , never mind if they be believers in Christendom , or Jehovah`s Witnesses who are affected by death , injury ,or whatever.

How come Jehovah / Jesus Christ never protects his people ? , Christians who havent been contacted yet by Jehovah`s Witnesses or Long standing faithful Jehovah`s Witnesses., all who die from these natural disasters,and not only natural disasters but accidents. Accidents that could be prevented by divine intervention.if Jesus Christ was really ruling as king as Jehovah`s representative.

Hasn`t Jesus Christ been ruling in heaven since 1914 ? What is he doing ? or more importantly , NOT doing.?

Coming to terms with the Watchtower experience

it is a challenge coming to terms with your experience as a jehovah's witness.

if you were born and raised as a jw, and your parents were true believers, the impact on your life is profound, lasting, and largely negative.

in some cases quite abusive emotionally, spiritually, financially, educationally and yes, even sexually.. i recently watched "trumbo", and was quite moved by dalton trumbo's speech to the screen writers guild in 1970. here is an excerpt that i think is quite relevant to this topic:.

I would agree with all your comments except for the statement that the leaders are victims also , The leaders ARE the Watchtower Society.

And they bloody well know they are not being led by GOD , Jehovah , Jesus Christ , Holy Spirit , or anybody else.

It is well past time when they should come clean and admit they are just another man made religion that started off with good intentions but lost their way, for one reason or another .
