of course i hadn't prepared and i heard "no rules about limits", or at least i thought i did.. here's the direct quote from the watchtower study article.. "although the bible does not provide specific rules about the kinds and limits of love play that might be associated with natural sexual intimacy, it mentions displays of affection.
the watchtower (study edition) august 2016 : making christian marriage a success, paragraph 8.. what say you?.

Today I Dropped In To Field Service Meeting
by pale.emperor ini just dropped my daughter off to her mum at her parents house.
it was 12pm and i knew they meet for feild service there but my ex and i assumed they would still be out knocking on doors.
i pull up in the street and there's quite a few cars parked up and the house was backed with jdubs from my old congregation.

Attending a same-sex wedding
by Samantharockeby33 inmy cousin, whom is not jw, but we have grown up together our whole lives has just gotten engaged to her same sex partner, i am very conflicted on wether i can/should attend the wedding or not.
i am very close with my cousin and her partner and they are very understanding to our beliefs and differences as she grew up with our whole family being jw.
some family members have already said they will definitely be attending and some definitely not attending so i just want some extra advice and guidance!

I appreciate you are a newbie on this forum Sam..... i`m not sure whether you are aware that this is primarily an ex JW site ,however we certainly welcome anybody else who comes here
So let me be one who does welcome you with no conditions attached.
Depending on your involvement with JW`s , their are many things that need to be considered .
Are you baptised ? Are you young and still under your parents control ?
Are you still in the religion because of family /friends ?
If you are an adult who can make your own decisions why would you give that up to another person to make a decision for you ?
If you are still a practicing JW and attend a gay marriage by a celebrant then you can expect the full force of the JC to come down on you. for attending.
If you dont give a stuff what the JW`s say or do then by all means go and support your cousin , you say you are very close to your cousin , keep that realationship together , because the relationships of JW`s are very conditional

Life after Armageddon in the new world A Paradise ? You be the Judge.
by smiddy inmost , if not all of jw`s expect it to be paradise ,immediately.. how wrong can they be.. 8 billion + corpses lying around , oh thats right jehovah the magician will fix that with a wave of his wing.. their will not be education above 4th grade as higher education is frowned upon.. women will be restricted to sewing weaving and looking after their husbands needs , and looking after all the children being born to her husband and being in subjection to him.. how many women are in high profile positions in the world today ,including leaders of countries ,and other positions of power and influence ,even in male dominated fields of bygone years .. that will all be gone in the new system ,where women will be put in their place.. children will be forbidden from compettitive sports as thats not permitted anymore , no more tv games ,no more video games , no more just about anything that normal teenagers engage in today.. and no more tv except jw.org tv worldwide with no other channells.
with higher education off the table society is going to slowly sink back to the dark ages and even the stone age.. think about it .

What do they try to control now. :Dress code ? , Women cant wear slacks ,length of dress ,no tattoos , no denim ,jeans and lycra , and even restrictions on how much makeup is appropiate, Men are counselled about hair styles ,tight pants , pointy shoes ,colours of shirts ,socks ,etc.? I`m sure you can list many more restrictions that are put on Jehovahs Witnesses now ,what do you think would happen in the so called new system ? It would much be worse .
You think the Taliban is bad , ISIS ,and Sharia law , wait to you get into the new system ," You aint seen nothing yet"
Please list other things I have failed to reveal that wont be a part of the new system Paradise.

Thanks for that post Giordano , its very interesting.The recent case of the young mother hemorrhageing and dying hits home.
The linked articles are an eye opener , and where JW`s come into the picture and their policy of accepting blood fractions , the mind boggles that they cant even donate their own blood for future use for fractions that they have no qualms accepting from members of the public. {Those that they claim are going to die at the big "A" ]
I just commented on another thread why mainstream Christendom is so lax in not tackling JW`s head on with their no blood, doctrine policy ,they should be able to make mince meat of that policy with their Bible Scholars etc.
And likewise , I would love to know how many JW`s have lost their lives over the past 50 years for refusing to have a blood transfusion that could have saved their lives due to the policy of " No Blood " directives of the Governing Body of Jehovahs Witnesses ,and the subsequent coersion of the Liasion Comittee and family and friends ,all who are jehovahs Witnesses who want that rule enforced.
Your post has a lot to absorb , this was just a brief overview as an ex JW

FYI, Eloise Dupuis, 27, a JW, died last Wednesday in a Quebec hospital because she refused a blood transfusion

eloise dupuis, 27 years old, died at the hotel dieu hospital in lévis, quebec, canada, wednesday, october 12th.
she died because of her religious principles.

Very tragic ,...very sad.....and as we know on this board , the JW no blood policy for medical reasons / transfusions is a corruption of the Bible texts used to justify it.
It is long overdue for mainstream Christian religions to set the record straight on this subject and tackle the WTB&TS head on in exposing the religions doctrine for what it is.
A bastardisation of scripture that has no solid foundation in the Bible for the interpretation Jehovahs Witnesses give the scriptures relating to blood.
Surely the Bible scholars , learned Clergy of Christendoms religions either jointly or singurlary could campaign to end all these needless deaths of men women and children of this religion that has been going on for more than 60 years now ,with countless needless deaths in the name of Christianity.
I sincerely believe Churches have been too silent in not condemning this doctrine of Jehovahs Witnesses with a big campaign

I finally tied the knot, or any advice for an old "sew-and-sew"?
by compound complex ini met up with many friends of 50-60 years over the last week.
these were friends from the neighborhood, school, and kh.
i renewed some really special attachments.

Not that I`m that way inclined ,however I did enjoy his enthususiasm in the masturbation video.
