james leuba conducted a survey of scientists in 1916. they were asked a whether they believed in a god who actively communicates with humanity, to whom humans can pray and expect an answer.. to believe in this sort of god would mean you were a theist.
if you're a deist, or agnostic, you believe there's a god but he's not necessarily interested in humans and we wouldn't pray to this god.. the results of this survey revealed that roughly 40% of scientists believe in this sort of god, making them theists.
40% didn't, making them either deists/agnostics or atheists.

JW`s do not beleive that God created earth / universe 6000 yrs ago.Their official rendering is that "in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth,could have happened millions of years ago,Gen 1:1 The 2nd verse of genesis then applies to Gods turning his attention to preparing earth for the various life forms

The" Aid Book"when first published acknowleged that Yahweh was the more correct pronunciation of Gods personel name,and the only reason witnesses adopted Jehovah was because it was more commonly accepted in christendom over the centuries. i have come to understand that people who are jehovahs witnesses are for the most part, good and honest people.
just like people in other religions or for that matter, people who dont practice any religion.
and, like those other people, they also have their minority of people who are selfish, deceptive and not very nice.
The wt publication" Jehovah`s Witnesses proclaimers of Gods Kingdom" pg 576 says a man by the name W.H.Conley was the initial president from 1881 to 1884. Russell didn`t officially become it`s president until the society was legally incorporated in 1884.

Now picture the scales of justice,Satans wrongdoing as against mankinds wrongdoing.What comparison is their between Satans afflictions/sufferings these past 6000 years (,by jw reckoning,) as against the afflictions/pain/and suffering experienced by humans, man woman and child,these past 6000 years???.Remember Satan,compared to humans is a superior being,a spirit being who apparently can live for thousands of years without dying.And according to Job even after rebelling against Jah could still come into the presence of God.(and the test of job which is another story ) What physicall afflictions has Satan suffered ? OK you say he`s not a material being,so what has he suffered ? Humankind on the other hand has suffered horrendously...these past centuries,man woman and child.And lets forget about the suffering man has brought upon himself,and their is heaps,lets just concentrate on the suffering that God has brought upon mankind and NOT SATAN. Jehovah said woman would give childbirth in pain. ....Satan doesn`t ......Mankind would die in the day he broke Gods law .Satan didn`t ....What was stated in the bible was the wages of sin was death....,for mankind,thousands and thousands of generations,man woman and child have died .....shocking deaths in alot of cases. Satan didn`t What suffering has Satan endured ....Mankinds afflictions / diseases/pestilences/which are not attributed to mankinds abuses ,which are too many to list here ,but a few as starters,MS,Parkinsons,dementia,various forms of cancer,(and I know personally many ,and I emphasise many jw`s who have never smoked with having various forms of cancer) liver disease(non drinkers) and their are many many many more afflictions that you can bring to mind that humans have suffered. What can you say about Satan.The evidence before me is he`s suffered nothing. I have only touched the surface of the inequalities between the sentencing of Satan and Humans because of rebellion,hopefully you can add more.

I left the jw`s in 1993 and didn`t have any contact except for one funeral I attended some years later,so I never really kept up with what was going on,in the organization of jehovah`s witnesses only relatively recently had I heard about the may 1994 awake which featured the 26 children who died because of the blood policy of jw`s and I am amazed that their was very little, if any, outcry from the media,other religions,medical professions,health organizations,or child protection agencies deploring such treatment of children by a so called christian organization.

my wife & i received a memorial invitation a couple of days before the event,from my neice.her mother who is no longer associated was also given an invitation.
her grandmother who was never associated with witnesses was never given an invitation.
the witness has little contact with her mother unless she want`s something eg.mind the kids while she does her own thing .

So their has been no contact with the witness and her mother for years unless it was to her interest/advantage.The witness never brings her young children to visit their great grandmother,they have no relathionship with her .We as her uncle and aunt,have never been visited by her or her husband,since we have moved in the same locality for the past 18 months.Also the witness never contacts or enquire after her siblings (who were once associated ) even after one has had a baby while married. And her husband has never bothered to contact any of us in any circumstances.The witness mother has recently seperated from a failed marriage,which promted,as well, a talk from the K.H. The invitation!!! Isn`t that just bloody hypocritical???? And they just dont get it. And to cap it off the witness stated that since her mothers marriage breakup she see`s how family is so important. SINCE THE MEMORIAL WE HAVEN`T SEEN HIDE NOR HAIR OF HER ( because we didn`t GO?)
