  We can only hope this ARC is not a paper tiger and that positive results will come from this investigation into child sexual abuse in Australia including the Jehovahs Witness religion among other institutions.

  1006 cases have been identified at the ARC acknowledged by the JW religion as correct but ,how many more cases have not been reported to the society and have been dealt with by the parents of the abused , by-passing the Congregations internal judiciary system .

  I think 1006 cases will be significantly higher if you incorporate cases that have been reported to the police /relevant authorities by concerned parents during that same period of time.

  Special Talk During the Meeting Today About the Bad Press in Canada

  i was invited to a congregation in ontario, canada today and as soon as the meeting opened the brother conducting the meeting said there was a very important statement coming from the borg.

  this talk replaced the two last parts of "living as a christian" section.

  he started reading a letter from the borg about how much they loved us.

  So when three Elders sit in a Judicial Committee judging whether a fellow witness is to be reproved or disfellowshipped for an alleged sin committed by him/her ,they are guided only by by their own thoughts ? Seeing they cant read hearts ,they can make mistakes .?

  Gods Holy Spirit , Direction ,has no part in these proceedings ? Jehovah is not disciplining the alleged offender.?

  It is three imperfect humans making a judgement upon another imperfect human being ,with no divine intervention involved.

  Thank you Barbara for posting this article. Is this a national newspaper ? with a wide coverage in Spain ?

  Whatever , it is good to see such an exposure taking place not only here but all around the world, we are seeing the failure of the JW religion to protect the young and vulnerable to sexual abuse within the organisation .

  Surely only positive results will eventually come from all this publicity We can only hope so.

  hi everyone, .

  i have been trying really hard to find the court case transcript where steven unthank was in court in australia and one of the wt lawyers or a wt spokesperson said the faithful and discreet slave does not exist.. i hope that this is correct i remember reading about this a long while back and would love to get evidence of this.. i found steven on facebook and messaged him about 6 months ago and he didn't respond, he probably wants to let all this go, and i don't blame him for that.. any suggestions would be very much appreciated.. thanks wgo..

  Hi WGO , I think you will find that they didnt say it didnt exist what they did say was it was a" Theocratic arrangement " that could be made up of different members of the Governing Body at any given time.

  Theirfore no particular individuals of themselves were the Faithful & Discreet Slave .

  Thanks for posting this with english sub-titles Excellent coverage ..These videos should be shared as wide as possible,the more exposure of this religion the better.

  Why ?

  Because it better informs the public the danger they face with their children being a potential victim from a D2D visit by a pedo .

  And it will also put added pressure on the BORG to do more to protect their own children in the organisation by complying with the ARC recommendations to improve their policys in protecting children from sexual abuse.

  Lunch today with.. JW step father....

  it has been a while since i've posted, i think its because i have finally gotten some peace and quiet as far as harassment from the jw elders.. my step father, the one who reported me to the elder police for a sinful act invited me to lunch today.. it has been almost a year since the incident, we have talked here and there, it has been just casual though.

  he says he is in town for work and asked if i would like to meet up for lunch, i couldn't think of any excuses so i agreed.. i hope it goes well, hope that we don't go into the jw nonsense.

  hope he doesn't bring elders with him, am i paranoid or what?

  Raven you handled yourself well with your step-father ,I`m glad that your fears were`nt realised .

  I hope yor relationship with him continues to respect each others beliefs.

  Of course he may just be testing the waters whether he can entice you back into the Org.and if that becomes obvious he cant ,then his true motives might surface .

  I go along with all the trappings that goes with Xmas, traditional dinner,alcohol, cards,along with family and friends and I consider myself an atheist now.

  Its a good time to enjoy each others company in celebration.And it gets easier with each passing year notalone.

  I wonder just how long can they thumb their nose at law enforcement ?

  Are their no teeth to theses laws ? Or is it just a paper tiger.

  If this can go on indefinetly then whats the point of the law ?

  Their should be a time limit for them to comply and then legal action taken against them for failing to comply , not a never ending $$$ penalty that is never going to be acted upon.

  This current law and its application seems to be nothing more than a sick joke allowing them to eventually get off scot free.

  4000$ a day penalty to the Jehovahs Witnesses for not complying with a court order is reminiscent of Armageddon being just around the corner.

  Neither is going to happen and the Court /Legal System needs to explain how long this never ending saga is going to continue? When is justice going to prevail ?
