Judging by everyones comments hopefully the witness twin has more control over the brain. It wouldnt matter if they went to the kingdom hall together, because once the twin that likes the church prays for them to be saved they can masturbate or do whatever they want and there granted a get out of hell free pass. hey there, im kinda looking for some guidance here, i had a very close friend, she was actually one of my bridesmaids at my wedding, she's a little messed up but never the less we had a good friendship until i told her i was pregnant....!

it was no secret i was trying we had told everyone that we wanted to start trying after our wedding, but anyway when i told her her response was " oh, ok congratulations" and that was it, for the 9 months i was pregnant i reckon she asked me twice if i was ok and how it was going, all her text msg were about her and what was happening in her life.

she has come no where near us since i have had kaia, she hasnt seen her once and kaia is coming up to 6 months old.

did being in the organization produce anything good?everyone has his or her perspective and viewpoint about the watchtower society.. true, most of us on this board know the history and story behind the watchtower.

however, is there anything that you learned from your jehovahs witness past that .

you appreciate even today?.

It helped with my schooling, public speaking contests and so forth.

One more thing It helped me with was a sales jobs I had? Anybody else have a good job experience because of it? I believe it helped with my interviews as well.

When I last posted I was speaking of King Jrs son. How he is a respectful person with class. Im only 25, so I dont know a whole lot about his father, but have read up and seen footage of him.

Here is my biggest point- From what I have even seen from what Ive read and heard he never directed any negativity towards the whites and always handled himself with alot of dignity. All the way up to his assisination he never filled himself with hatred. His son is the same way. Like I said before he actually gives thanks to alot of white people in association with his foundations and what he is trying to do, and shaperton, Jackson, and every other civil right activist out there havent went through a fourth of what he has.

I hope someday Jr's son takes a more prominent lead, and becomes the main activist for black people. He knows that if you want things to change you have to include both races in what you are trying to do. This is one thing shaperton needs to learn. You cant get races to come together if you constantly stick up for just the blacks. You will never accomplish anything going about it this way. He sticks his nose in everything. If I was Imus I never would have went on a talk show with Shaperton. All he is going to do is make the situation worse and the outcome for those involved worse.

The really sad part of this whole story is everytime these sorta things happen it takes over the news for 5 days. Usually in 5 days on CNN, MSNBC, or whatever there are a train wreck, 10 suicide bombings, 3 giant fires, and so forth and all people worry about is a comment about Imus and all these more important things take a back seat.

As for the Chapelle show. Im white and yes I admit I laugh, but switch the show around and have a white guy doing that and there would be no laughing at all. Al Shaperton would be protesting it like it was a world wide tragedy.

I dont know what balcks think about shaperton, but I always hear people calling in sticking up for him on the radio stations. What people need to realize, blacks and whites both is just because one of the people you look up to or follow is the same color as you doesnt mean they go about things the right way, or there always right.

I have listened to martin luther king jrs son on a few programs before, and I have alot of respect for him. If anyone should be bitter about anything it should be him not someone like Shaperton. Jr. holds himself with alot of class and dignity and never takes shots at white people for every little thing. He is smart enough to know that is not the way the way you go about doing things. I watched him on espn once and he was talking about some of his foundations that he has set up. He included alot white people in his thanks for their participation and support. He is a classy man.

If we ever expect anything to change this is what kind of civil rights activists we need. We dont need people who everytime something supposedly is racist, no matter how big or small it is made out to be 3 times as worse than it really is like Sharperton does . He can make a friendly argument seem like it was a deadly gun battle.

FIRST OF ALL SORRY FOR THE SPELLING, I DIDNT KNOW YOU HAD TO BE A GREEK SCHOLAR TO POST ON HERE. TWO I HAVE SAID ON A POST BEFORE I HAVENT BEEN TO THE MEETINGS FOR ABOUT 5 YEARS OR SO FOR THOSE WHO SAY I AM NOT ALLOWED TO POST.

I was talking about the early morning shows on the hip hop stations like the russ parr show. also the race card is brought up everytime someone gets in trouble in the nba,nfl and everywhere else, and who is always in the middle of everything shaperton. Love black people but I think this guy causes more contreversy than he does good.

I think Imus is ignorant for what he said so I am not sticking up for him, but let it work both ways

When is a person's "race" not going to be the topic of conversation?

i think this don imus scandal just goes to show that no matter how hard a person works or how much he or she succeed in life their "race" or ethnicity or "gender" is always going to be the determining factor.

instead of don imus congradulating the "girls basketball team" for all of their hard work, he has to insult them.

i am glad he got fired and i hope it sends a message to anybody else that wants to publicly insult a group.

Im not a racisct, but you never will stop hearing about it because their billions of people out there and every time a white says something the wrong way it is made into a global epidimic, but people like sharperton and jackson can say anything, anytime, anywhere and they are granted ammunity. ( duke lacrosse). They say all they want about this and dont have to apologize. I am sorry but a rape trial has much more meaning then a bad statement
