so if i send money to al gore to pay for carbon credits, will it warm up the 30 degree temperature outside today?

pearly on years ago when i realized a few people and organizations were using junk science as away to build a cottage industry of money making and taxing, i knew it was a hoax.

then when the data came back to show the earth has been cooling instead of warming, the con artists changed the label from global warming to climate change.. believe what you want to, i don't care, but blind allegiance to the gw idea is so similar to jw belief in my mind, blind!.

Lost... I mean many of those who use the 'well China isn't going to clean up so why should we?' line fail to consider that China is actually cleaning up their act because they do realise they need to. They need landspace to grow food and they need to ensure they have clean water supplies. If you watch the video, it discusses how they see these needs as new industries. Service industries. The work goes to where it is required and right now, one of the biggest industries is cleaning up what we've done in the past... out of necessity.

There is a lot more to China than factories and manufacturing...

Such mild mannered people... and this was in the 1940's when there was on the whole a hell of a lot more respect for law enforcement too...

Constable Daniel James Morris, of Mitchelton, was cut over the right eye with an axe, alleged to have been wielded by a 17-year-old youth, who was arrested on a charge of causing grievous bodily harm. Detective-Constable N. W. Bauer was punched by another man, who also was arrested on a charge of assault. A woman struck police' officers with a stick. Two representatives of The Courier- Mail, watching the police raid on a Mitchelton house, were chased by a man armed with a pitch-fork. Several tons of literature, hundreds of gramophone records, and some a mplifiers, were confiscated. Constable Morris was injured when he, Detective Constable Bauer and Plain-clothes Constable M. Brown in- tercepted a two-ton truck laden with property alleged to have been taken from the headquarters of the organisa- tion in Glen Retreat Road, Mitchel- ton.

once we found out we were all witnesses, we all hugged.

now we just had to see if our kingdom hall was still standing.

when we came to the hall we had such a huge shock.. there were so many people there.

I remember seeing one similar a few years back. Part of it involved a brother who was on foot to get to the KH to meet with the other survivors. Did he walk? Did he run? No, he skipped all the way. Over brimming with joy because Jehovah had finally destroyed all the wicked ones. Yeah...

I'm not really sure they really think it through too well. It's almost like they see the people they depict being killed as the baddies in a movie. Intended to come across as real but really, we're all aware once the director yelled "cut" they got up and carried on. Failure to separate reality from fiction and really understand the consequences of what they are writing about if it was to ever happen... or to even stop and think that if a God was to really take things that far that he would destroy so many people, how do they know they would really be so safe themselves?

Looking through the transcript again, they did request a copy of the 'Shepherding' book. Looks to me like they will be called upon again. The Inquiry is covering all religious organisations. It doesn't specify that they need to be a particular size. Keep in mind, there is still the national Royal Comission as well... said it before and I'll say it again. They will be in for a few bad years here in Australia... you can pretty much guarantee that.

I don't think it's over for the WTBTS in this inquiry. He did hand them evidence with first his claim of only 2 child abusers, then his smoke screen argument about children not wanting the police to be involved... the two don't add up. Might have something to do with the questions regarding shunning etc... the people chosen to investigate and lead these inquiries are not just pulled out of a hat. They are chosen because they have seen and heard it all before. Not over for them by a long shot I'd say.

Yeah... missed the last line at the bottom mentioning Geelong.

The writing is dark all right... no regard for anyone who was killed because it was Jehovah who did so... the same bully who bought back certain loved ones. Makes you wonder... does it ever occur to any of them (it did for me especially as a child) why Jehovah has to carry out his work so violently. After all, if Satan and his demons is the cause of all evil then removing them would really all that would be needed.

That's the question that used to bother me.

I do remember when I was working at a computer store around a decade ago that ViewSonic was one of that store's preferred brand for selling. Reason was their low failure rate... well under 1% of the monitors sold came back for warranty repairs. That's with a 3 year warranty too. Don't know what the situation is like with them today though.

I remember seeing one similar to this... the complete lack of regard the bodies they come across... send shivers down my spine. Where is this supposed to be set by the way? It has an American feel to it but at the same time mentions kangaroos on the front lawn.
