That is ironic. Kinda like the spyware that installs itself on your computer that then advertises anti-spyware software....
Another irony; as I was typing this post, an ad popped up and offered to install itself to rid my computer of spyware....
so, i go outside to check my mail.
i see a ziplock bag on my front lawn.
i look down the street, and my neighborhood is littered with them.

... i was wondering if anyone has any quotes / scans of .
My great-grandfather's credit application?
LMFAO!
looking back at a few bethel threads and getting calls from many former friends last week about the assembly season, i reflected back on some of the assemblies of the past, particularly in the 80's and 90's.. do you remember beautiful sisters that just had the criteria of having a spiritual man.
they would get a dorky pioneer / elder / ms and walk together at the assembly.
everyone would wonder, "how the hel did that happen".
What's thisyou speak of brinjen?
Backgammon of course. What did you think I was referring to? What else can a man and woman do? Alone? With alcohol? And fluffy toys? And a can of whipped cream? With chocolate sauce?
about how many hours per day or night do you spend on this forum?
i spend about 2-3 hrs per night actively participating and browse throughout the day.. my boss allows me to do this because i 'm very good at multi-tasking.
he thinks i'm the greatest thing since grits and gravy.. snowbird.
I'm hardly ever on.
I really wish I were able to post more.
I'm trying to arrange my affairs to make this happen.
There are some days that I don't even reach the posting limit of 75.
Thank you snowbird for reminding me of the need to always do more.
I know what you mean, I feel so guilty for not posting enough. Sounds like we need a 'local needs' talk to help some of us slackers!

Guys, guys. You don't get it. Dorks improve with age, 'hunks' don't.
They actually did a study on this here in oz last year. That was their conclusion. Look at the guys you knew in high school that were attractive, had all the girls. Now look at them. Chances are you wouldn't think they were the same person. Even Alec Baldwin got fat & ugly.
Dorks on the other hand do improve with age. They also have to try harder to 'win' the girl. Not to mention they are much, much better at ....
just for fun....... the first thing you do in the morning is log on.... you view your job as just another distraction to keep you away from it.
you start looking for career options that might allow you internet access.
you look at all the feet in flip flops on the bus in the morning and think "crumpet would enjoy this".
Brinjen, I think of you like my sister...you make me think!
Same here eclipse
this was sent to me by a jw, trying to convince me how correct they are to refuse blood.
it's one of those, "see i told you we were wright" things.
enjoy.
I agree. For every study that go in favour of 'no blood' there are numerous more than go against it. I would not accept a transfusion if its not necessary, however if I'm in danger of dying I won't be refusing.
i just bought a bottle of wine for an exjw's 30th that i am about to run off to.
on it there was a great quote by mark twain:.
"twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do... explore.
Yep the whole alienation thing at school (might have actually had some friends), not having a social life in my teens.
Not attending university (didn't finish high school either but fixed it as soon as I left)
happy birthday hobo!!
enjoy your special day!
this doesn't have one single calorie...... juni .
Happy birthday Hobo!
though many millions are still under the spell of ignorance-inducing belief-systems, have you personally noted people in your day-to-day to be less and less involved in religion?.
that's been my experience.
it gives me great hope about the future of humanity.
Absolutely. I know a lot of 'spiritual' people but not one of them attends church or is a member of a religion.
People are realising they don't need to go to a building and hear some penis minister etc tell them how they can 'connect' to god.
About bloody time!
