I'd donate a few new printing presses to the wbts. Very special printing presses. That print twice on the page. The first will be what they want printed. This however, would begin to fade after a couple of weeks to show the other page underneath it. This will feature topics such as the 607 facts, all the dates armageddon was supposed to arrive etc. Apostates paradise!

Addams Family and other TV Shows

i recently picked up a copy of the original addams family tv show on dvd because i loved the movies, but never saw the original tv shows because my parents would not let me for jw reasons (presumably for demonism, witchcraft, etc.).

i'm about 12 episodes in and i don't know why this was banned.

ok, there's thing (a hand/arm), and a bear skin rug that growls.

So I attended the District Convention today.

it seemed strange for some reason now, maybe my view of the org now is why.

today was super boring this time for me since i wasn't ignorant of the crap anymore, but i was suprised, that the "faithful and discreet slave" was hardly mentioned throughout the day.

Brilliant post. Yep, I came to the same conclusion myself. How can anyone say they are channeled to god when they keep getting things wrong? Brighter light? BS! Imperfect men running a perfect organisation? Pull the other one! I realised by coming up with excuses like those, you are either calling god a liar, or you do not have his direction.

what is the wtbts exactly saying here because they don't let you make the truth your own?

besides nicknaming the religion "the truth", this is just another example of how the wtbts brainwash jws to think that the truth and the watchtower are the same thing.

i think this might be why jws, before hearing anything negative about the watchtower, already decide that it is false or they defend it.

Yes I remember it... Some crap that everyone truly believes the garbage fed to them.

Actually I started changing the "flavour" of the song "We're Jehovah's witnesses" at a night out...I started singing it with a swing beat (gotta stop drinking whisky)....imagine Frank Sinatra singing it speeded up....while clicking his fingers....."men make god's of wood and stone...(trumpets) dah dah...but the true God they've not known(yeah)....he is God almightyyyyyy.. as hes often shown...(double bass) bah dum bah dum bah dum................the company I was in didnt approve....sorry at the mo I have too much time on my hands......he he...and yes I'm sober ; )

Would have loved to be a 'fly on the wall' for that one...imagine the looks on their faces! Imagine the shock waves felt throughout the congregation as news spread.....
