  What will you do when the Great Tribulation Begins?

  i've always wanted to ask this question to those that have decided to leave the organization.. what will you do when the great tribulation begins?.

  right now folks, a lot is happening in the political world.. gordon brown (prime miniter of england) last week gave a speech to the un stating that it is time for the un to step in and solve the world's problems, (specifically mentioning the economy and hunger crisis worldwide.).

  barrack obama is shaping up to be the next president, a fellow who sure knows how to persuade and lead great crowds.

  The only thing that wrong with what you are saying is yes you want to see an end to it, but if they are not JW's then they will be destroyed anyway. As that is what you all believe. So again it will just be you that is happy not the ones in fear or what ever.

  Maybe I am lucky I have had a wonderful life I don’t see the amount of wicked my friend who is a JW's sees. Everything with him at the moment is doom and gloom. Why can't you just enjoy the life you have now live it to the full find good in everything you see and hear. Love others as you would want them to love you.
  
  You can’t be very happy if you can't wait for the end of the world. How can you think it will be so wonderful to see people destroyed to then pick about the bones and make things new (the JW view)?
  
  I like the bible view that there will be a new heaven and a new earth, all ready waiting for us. Also the bible tells us we will have everlasting life if we believe and trust in Jesus. So that must mean when I die I go to Jesus I don't lay in wait somewhere.
  
  You was given one life now live that one life to the full, enjoy it see new places make new friends learn something new every day and it wont be a life wasted.
  
  Put your trust in God not man.
  
  So happy I was never a JW and have no family that are either.

  as i am not a jw and never going to be one or study with one, can someone tell me what scripture they use to make everyone reject jesus.

  it just feels to me like something satanic worshippers would do, not something christians would do.

  it just seems so wrong to me

  Is this not telling us there are more than 144,000 in heaven. So then shouldn't all Christians partake?

  So is that logic you speak of just a watchtower logic, or is there a scripture that says only the 144,000 should partake.
  
  Also why would it of taken so long to get the 144,000 people? They should all be long dead by now.

  In Britain last year it said there were 50,164 bible studies is that the number of people who are studying?
  
  If it is why after a year only 3.383 of those got baptised?
  
  Never being a JW I don’t know any facts. so sorry if it's a silly question.

  It still only works out at 2 or 3 baptisms per congregation, and if most of them were family memebers that's not a lot.
  
  Would be nice to know how many over 21's got baptised. Also how many new families joined.

  power of prayer, is it possible?

  i'm all about praying, but not necessary to get what i want or for something to go my way.

  lately ,praying hasn't seemed to work.

  i go to sleep each night literally crying because it makes me sad to know that they are going to the meetings blindly.

  I pray for my friend to come out of the JW religion, it may take a few years but I will keep on. I have also asked others to pray as well.

  JW say df/shunning is Scriptural...How do we get around those Scriptures?

  paul of course is the mainstay of this, and i really like saying "hey lets stick to what jesus taught" but even he condemned the pharacees and others in a considerably judgemental manner.

  so what to say to my elder/dad who won't speak to my df son?

  like when paul says to not eat with them, don't say a greeting to them etc....how do we get around that?

  It's just a form of blackmail.
  
  A childs game if you dont play the game my way I am going to take my ball in and not play with you any more.
  
  It's so sad men can have a hold over these people.
  
  How can you phone your parent/child/friend and say I love you but can't talk to you anymore unless you do as you are told.
