What fresia and old flame said. We would meet from house to house as was done in earlier times. I would suggest a weekly real Bible study starting with Revelation 22:21 and working backward. We would discuss anything and everything close to our hearts; pray for the Holy Spirit's leading in all things; help those in financial need; feed the hungry and clothe the scantily-clad.

Watchtower articles on Muslim religion? Are they afraid to speak out?
by Terry incan anybody quote any articles which speak out against the radical muslim terrorists?.
the watchtower made its reputation in the 1900's slamming catholicism and christendom.
surely you'd expect them to lash out against the muslim extremes.. or, are they afraid to do so?.

My District Convention pioneer experiences- I fed my kids from the gutter?
by Witness 007 ini wen't to the district convention 2 years ago, the talk was on "sacrifices," a pioneer couple were interviewed by the c.o.
they had pioneered for many years with two kids, the dad worked part time.
they explianed how money was "tight" for them many times.

Can I join in? I remember a sister relating how she and hubby tried to pioneer in Houston, TX, around the late 70's to early 80's. She said she was doing street witnessing in front of a supermarket when a shopper dropped a carton of eggs and left them lying on the ground thinking they were all broken.
The sister said she looked around to see if anyone was watching, then picked up the carton to find out only 6 eggs were broken. She took the 6 whole eggs home and she and hubby had a nice omelet for dinner! I remember thinking how in affluent Houston they had to resort to practically living off the streets. I used to invite them for dinner even though I had very little to offer. They were so loving and grateful. I wonder where they are now.

By the way, it just started raining here about 20 minutes ago, no wonder it has cooled off.Would that some of that coolness would come down this way. It's still sizzling here in Lower Alabama But this too shall pass.

Just want to say I read up on the Exodus Conference and I hope you will be edified by attending.
I know edified sounds formal, but I was practically raised by schoolteachers. The kids I grew up with used to tease me about my schoolmarmish speech.
