Psalm 8 popped right into my mind.
i want to see and hear peoples views on what we have seen.
i, personally, think it has been fantastic.
i hear many complain its not informative enough or its sugar coated or whatever but i think its brilliant for the mere fact that its dumbed down for us lamen folk...my wife still doesnt get some of it and i agree...but that, for me, shows how comex real life is....its not easy as many religionists believe.....
Psalm 8 popped right into my mind.
people who believe that every verse of the bible is inspired are in for a shock.
according to genesis account, god created heavens and the earthin a one-time act.
but an experiment conducted at the south pole, two weeks back, has caught ripples in the oldest light in the universe.
John 5:17 But he answered them, “My Father has been working until now, and I too am working.” Complete Jewish Bible
The Father continues working, but Jehovah, who became the man, Jesus of Nazareth, rested?
Is that why He called Himself Lord of the Sabbath?
there is something all too familiar about it, something that sickens the stomach and reminds us how low and prejudiced evil minds can go.. those who divide humans up in order to weaken and conquer them will stop at nothing if not counterfeit reasoning to justify their evil.. .
the arguments made in the past and the arguments made in the present have a familiar ring to them and the false clanger is a note of warning!.
"if you give women the right to vote, you're just doubling the vote of their husband.".
What about the division over the id of the "man" who oversowed the field with weeds?
I remember thinking, what in the world is happening?

Much better, still cold in the early morning.
As my late mother would say, just the Easter snap.
Kids are (seem) better, too.

Life goes on day after day
Hearts torn in every way
So ferry 'cross the Mersey
'cause this land's the place I love
and here I'll stay
People they rush everywhere
Each with their own secret care
So ferry 'cross the Mersey
and always take me there
The place I love
People around every corner
They seem to smile and say
We don't care what your name is boy
We'll never turn you away
So I'll continue to say
Here I always will stay
So ferry 'cross the Mersey
'cause this land's the place I love
and here I'll stay
and here I'll stay
Here I'll stay
LOL.
I live in Alabama, so can only imagine where you are.
When I read your post, this song came to mind.
I was 11 years old when it was recorded, 49 years ago.
Memories ...
apparently.
my never-a-jw mother was at the shops with my never-a-jw 5 year old niece today and saw some jws she's known loosely for years as they were friends of mine.
she'd even taught the teenaged girl among them.
I'm sad for the people who feel the need to shun.
If we deliberately hurt someone, we are diminished, either in our eyes or the other person's.
When are we going to learn that?

I'm a believer and I've learned so much from Carl Sagan and Neil deGrasse Tyson.
I'm especially gratified and proud that a Black scientist hosts the show.
As Forrest Gump would say, "That's all I've got to say about that."
Thanks, again.
I've received quite a few.
Most ask the same question.
Are you really from Alabama?
LOL.

A blithe elderette, a bemused "study," and a bereft bachelor blockaded the bulletin board.
