  so we all know that matt 11:28-30 says .

  28 "come to me, all you who are toiling and loaded down, and i will refresh you.29 take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for i am mild-tempered and lowly in heart, and you will find refreshment for yourselves.

  30 for my yoke is kindly, and my load is light.. it amazes me immensely how the organisation has completely overlooked the intent of this verse as supposedly said by gods son!.

  I spent my childhood working as a sharecropper, riding to the cotton fields on a mule-drawn wagon, listening to the wagging tongues of the neighbor ladies, trying not to look too woebegone as I thought about missing school.

  we found some people who were happy to welcome us into their homes, even offering us food and drink.. sometimes, they would flag us down and ask for the magazines, walk miles to the kh meetings, come to our defense if someone got ugly or rude.. now, jw's are either routinely ignored or outright vilified.. no one respects them anymore.. sad.. .

  In your memory, what was the nicest day you had out in field service?

  for me, that happy day was in morro bay, calif. it was the fall, oct 1958 or 9. gorgeous weather.

  the sun was shining and the wind was coming off of the ocean.. at that time, morro bay was unassigned territory.. talesin on another thread was talking about a lovely day she had, going with her grandfather, talking with a mr languages.

  Aunt Fancy, far from being united in a common bond of love, JW's attitudes vary from place to place. The WT will vigorously deny this, but it is true.

  Hi Flipper, and peace to you and yours.

  I've heard people say that they would join JW's were it not for their foolish blood policy.

  The WT has turned off many a good person!
