  My Anti-Kult Toastmasters Speech . .

  i am an active member of toastmasters international.

  i find that it has helped me to be polished and professional when dealing with my employers clients, many of whom are mid to high ranking us air force officers and upper level ny/ nj state government people.. i occasionally use the toastmasters forum to educate people about cults.

  toastmaster clubs are typically made up of local industry, technology, business and local government leaders and professionals.

  Crossing the Rubicon

  i am a history buff, so i consider myself as having crossed the rubicon on may 1, 2007. that was the date of my first post on this forum.

  the warm welcome and replies to my subsequent posts showed me that i had nothing to fear.. i want to thank simon and all of you guys for treating me so kindly.

  in a critique of 'captives of a concept', robert king accuses anyone who can't get past all of the watchtower society's 'obstacles' as animalistic and lacking spirituality, including don cameron and ray franz.

  it's mindblowing how this bloke can consistently call the watchtower leaders liars, blind, false prophets, dishing up vomitous things, etc, yet continue to preach that they are still a 'faithful steward' uniquely appointed by christ.

  so, while it is true that jehovahs witnesses have not come to know the judgment of jehovah, cameron is similarly captive to a concept; and hence, ignorant of jehovahs judgment.

  I for one am glad that a "well-meaning" educator helped me nudge my daughter into accepting a college scholarship. She graduated this year with a 5.+ GPA; pulled in a 35 on the ACT; a 2124 on the SAT; and wanted to go pioneering! I wasn't having any of it, neither was her guidance counselor.

  After I explained my daughter's reluctance to apply for college, the counselor thanked me and stated the info would be helpful to her in dealing with other JW kids. There is more than one way to skin a cat.
