did they believe just because jesus said "follow me and you will have everlasting life...and yeah i fullfill everything about he messiah and am prett much speaking for him?

Many JWs can't seem to realize that you can lose faith in the organisation's teachings. It's even worse when you get shunned for simply not being able to believe in it anymore.
It's like you said.....the Governing Body says you should put faith in them since.......they said so. Even though there's evidence that doesn't show they have any special insight from God, you are told you must "trust in Jehovah"........the GB in other words.

i was wondering if anybody has some input/suggestions on their feelings of blacks/a.a (no offences to ppl who are white and born in s.african or anything of that nature.
ok in xocos case i'm h***an/american (born in the us) and i grew up in a predominantly h****an kh so mostly black and few european ppl/decent that spoke the francophone lang (*hint,hint*) i've never knew what it was like to be in a predominantly caucasian kh (4 that 1 year i was living in the bible belt of fl,us).
it was different and ppl were mesmerized by the way i acted compared to other a.a. jw around their near by khs.
From my observations, as well as from the observations of others here locally that were vocal about this, it seemed that some black brothers that could've been given burdens privileges in the congregation were looked over quite often, while the certain white brothers that had no business being in these positions were being appointed left and right.
With me being Black though, i'm one of only a couple that slipped through the cracks, being appointed a MS eventually.
There are many congregations within the that Circuit isn't this way though, and there have been quite a few Black Circuit Overseers here, as well as in close by Circuits.

i love them and could watch them everyday.
he is so grounded.
I absolutely love his plays. I haven't really gotten into the knew show on TBS though. His movies are very enjoyable. When I was going through a bout of depression I watched the plays all the time. It's a guaranteed good laugh for me when I watch them.

i think we need to remember that when we were witnesses we were part of something bigger than anything else on this planet.
gods government that would soon rule over this globe, and that we were his chosen ones!!!!

i'll tell you what happened.
our unranked razorbacks went down to baton rouge and ended up winning 50-48 in the third overtime.
those lsu tigers were ranked no.
Even though I too am an Arkansan, i'm not too fond of the Razorbacks, but I sure didn't want LSU to win those one, so just for this game......................

when you used to go in the field service, did you go out to have 2 more hours on your report, or did you really want to save somebody's life by preaching a message of salvation ?
When my dad used to take me in field service as a child and when I first became a publisher, I absolutely hated it, with it being all about the hours. After I was baptized I began to see it more as saving people's lives, making me actually love it. That in turn led me to become a full-time magazine salesman regular pioneer on up until I walked away from it all.

because of the season i have been writing a list of friends/'worldy' relatives to send cards to.
i can't believe how many are on it!
i am so excited and hopeful for the future.
I never had many friends in the Org to begin with, and some of those I don't communicate with anymore. My social base is slowly but surely growing with those that don't care what I believe.

so the big "national " news release has come and gone.
it was huge in that this time it definitely hit the ears and eyes of witnesses as well as others who know witnesses, or have relatives who are in it .
on a " national " scale this is a lot of people.
I've shared this info with my sister who isn't a baptized JW by the way, but she always mentioned the idea of possibly going back to meetings regularly and "progressing". She's always had trouble in doing so though.
She was quite shocked by it all and she didn't brush it off as being some lie made up by angry apostates and the media. I've been trying to help her see, with many other small issues about the Org, as to why i'm staying away from it all, and hopefully she'll continue to keep away too.

This first one is actually from someone in my congo. He is the PO's grandson! Went to college..... Moved away a few years ago to another state. Very talented actor/writer, I went to some of his plays. Kudos to him for getting out!!!!
I still can't believe that one. He was an MS as well before he left i'm sure now after thinking back a bit......he conducted to Book Study I was in quite a bit years back. He seems to be really enjoying life, even though his family doesn't think so. Of course they want him to be a cog in the JW system as well. I'm happy for him for making the break.
