  i was raised a witness, and i was always told that demons were everywhere.

  i was told that if you let your mind open to "wrong" thinking that demons will invade you and take over.

  and just about anything could get you demonized.

  I tried to post a picture of an orangutan holding his schlong with his foot, but what you see is what showed up in my profile pic, so I just left it that way.

  When I was a kid, I was watching Bewitched on television when my grandparents were over visiting. My grandfather wouldn't enter the room because Bewitched was a demonized show and he wouldn't come near the family room while the show was on, so my parents made me change the channel.

  A show like that was on their T.V. one evening and so my grandmother rushed over to the T.V. to turn it off. When she walked away the T.V. came on again, they were convinced that the demons had turned the show back on. back then you had to go up to the T.V. and push a button, I'm sure the button just popped back out as her hand moved away. But I'm sure it pleased them to think that demons did it, thus confirming that demons are real and their religion is the "truth".

  I was raised around religious nut jobs.

  i used to deplore steven speilberg.

  i thought he was a smarmy nothing, who made his way on three good movies...jaws, close encounters, and et.

  even those are really flawed.

  When I went to see A.I. I remember sitting in the theatre watching that kid stare at that statue for what seemed like a million years, I felt just as trapped as that kid!! I leaned towards my daughters and asked them if they wanted to leave, and before I could get the sentence out they were standing in the aisle. That's the only movie that I can remember walking out on, and I went to Popeye.

And just about anything could get you demonized. Which of course led me to believe that demons were everywhere, especially when I was alone.

  I remember when I was a small child at the Kingdom Hall, I overheard some brothers talking about another brother who went to see a movie about the devil and demons. They said that when this brother went to bed that as he lay there he could feel something sit down at the bottom of his bed. They said that the brother began to say the name of Jehovah over and over until the demon left. I know this sounds ridiculous, but these freaks beleived it and as a little kid I didn't know any better.

  For many years I was scared shitless as I lay in bed, always thinking I could feel the bottom of my bed going down as if somebody or something was sitting there, waiting for me to even think about demons. And of course that's all I could think about.

  I sure as hell wish I was raised by a pack of wolves, instead of those freaks.

  Obviously if I were brough up across the pond, I would be mad about soccer and wouldn't care less about American football.

  So, what if the article isn't true, would that make you happy?

  That still doesn't negate the fact that liberals fight tooth and nail to coddle criminals. Why do you think taxpayers pay for prisioners to get estrogen shots and boob jobs, along with access to cablen T.V. and computers. All provided by our tax dollars. And lets not forget the free weights and nautilus machines. What a great idea, big giant pumped up murders, rapists and burglars. I wish I could afford all the equipment provided for them.

  All provided by the courtesy of liberals, you should be proud. When most prisioners get out of prison, they almost immediately go back to the same lifestyle that got them there. In my prison, they would be fed Krispy Kreme and whole milk every day all day and when they got out of prison, these fat blobs wouldn't be terrorizing anything larger than a doughnut.

  When I was in high school the San Jose Earthquakes (soccer) franchise started. I thought it was great that San Jose got their first professional franchise, so I supported them by attending as many games that I could. I really tried to like it, I really did.

  I finally had to admit to myself that all I was looking at were a bunch of pansies in little shorts running up and down a field playing keep away with each other. When you are raised on REAL football, like we are in the States, I don't think you can take how absolutly boring soccer is. Duck!!

  I left after 1975, I don't know why anybody stayed after 1975 came in with a bang and ended with a whimper.

  I worked with a guy in the 1980's who was a recent convert and explained to him the 1975 false prophesy. I was shocked to find out that he said that he had heard rumors about that, and from what he heard, it was only a few poeple that were running ahead of the organization.

  I asked him if this wicked system was still around in the year 2020 if his faith might be shaken, and he thought about it for a few seconds and admitted that it probably would. That was 18 years ago, 18 years to go and counting. I wonder if I planted a seed in his head and he remembers the conversation.

  Is apostate an appropriate term for us?

  how do you feel?do you like to be called apostate ?.

  apostate just means: someone who renounces a former belief or principle.. to people who have never been witnesses it may not symbolise much.but to witnesses the word means a lot.in many of their minds it is synonymous with evil and perverted.. since it jw's who will likely call us apostate not others the term almost always has a bad or negative useage.. but it does identify us as people who have completely rejected the religion.. so is it good for us to use it or not?
