yesterday, i did something i would have never thought in a million years id be doing: my husband and i went out and bought a xmas tree!
we spent yesterday decorating it, and setting up the lights.
i t looks beautiful in our loungeroom and we are really proud of it!.
I remember going to x-mas tree farms with my children and excitedly running around with my little girls, looking for the perfect tree to bring home. I was so happy to be sharing my first x-mases with them. I think I was as excited as they were. It blow to be a witness kid at x-mas time. You know what? It just blows to be a witness.

but now a days, we know much more people on the internet, than real live people in front of us.

Hi JH, Being raised a Witness made me an anti social. From the beginning I was the freak that sat in his chair during the flag salute, I was the one who would have to run out of the room if some kid brought a demonized Ouija board. I was the freak that had to sit alone in the classroom all alone during holiday time, listening to my happy classmates singing x-mas carols.
When you stand out as being different to other children they treat you like a pariah. It really makes it hard to develope social skills and make close friends when you don't really know how to interact with people that were brought up in a normal environment. I have been out for many years now and have tried hard to learn how to socialize with worldly people, and I have made a few close friends. For those of you that weren't brought up as witnesses, you can't have a clue as to what I'm talking about.

It's a little expensive, but you should go to the spa at the Bellagio and buy one their bath robes. I got my two daughters one apiece and I'm so generous, that I even bought one for my ex-wife. Forget the price, this is luxury that you can wrap around yourself for years to come.
And when you see the porn pioneers out front of every casino, making annoying clicking sounds and handing out literature, just walk on by without making eye contact. Have fun, and keep an eye on your boyfriend, he might get lost for a few hours.

My wife made more money than me, and she let me know it every opportunity she got. It put her in a position of power in our relationship. I lived the experience, I would say that you lose a lot of respect in most womens eyes, if they make more money than their spouse.

recently i was watching a documentary on this woman who claimed that she could heal people with the power of her mind.
the documentary went into interviewing people about their experiences, and many of them actually had medical signs of improvement that could be documented and shown.
while watching this, i was seeing it as a example of psychic energy healing someone?
To all believers---You have traded in a mind control religion for another fantasy. The funny thing is, just a few years ago, you would have considered all this crap you believe in DEMONIZED.
The power of the mind is probably very powerful, but it's the power your mind uses and creates for your own body. To feel that when you die, you are going to sprout wings and go play with the angles must be a great feeling. And people are so scared crapless that when they die that they are going to just lie there and rot, that they all gather together and beg and grovel as they look up into the sky, and look around at each other, and reassure each other that they are true and correct.
The same for you maroons that believe that people can see the future or talk to the dead or heal the sick with the power of their mind. If there is any healing going on, it's the healing effect that the persons own mind is doing. Your mind probably can prolong your life, you know, will to live and all that. My grandparents are as old as dirt, but they wont die because they know armageddon is coming any day now.
