  Need Advice

  hi friends!

  i have to say that the past year and a half i have come a long way as far as the old feelings of guilt for being inactive.. but, at times i still find myself having that nagging doubt, that maybe i am in disfavor with god.

  Vitameatavegamin I know how you feel...i was inactive from september of 99 to a month ago befor ei was disfellowshiped without a trial like so many other people on this board. The fact remains is that God does not approve of the jw's commanding people to shun their family members due to lack of meeting attendance, inactivity OR disfellowshipment. In the times of Israelites...they did the same thing...and any elder would agree that today's "Organization of God" is the Jehovah's Witnesses and the Israelite preist are the elders...and moses the governing body...but the refuse to acknowledge Ez 45:9 where Jah specifically said to those israelites and against is saying today...to stop the expropiation (disfellowshiping) thing...They still do not listen. Jah has removed his peace from these people. I know where you're coming from about the pain that you feel in regards your family shunning you...know that you are not alone...and i too have experienced this as many others as well. I hope you feel better..and over come this and your family understands what they are doing and come to their senses. As anyone else can agree...this website does help ...you make new friends and are able to voice your opinion about anything. i hope to see more of your comments in a more happier state. ~FS

  BrotherX reveals Purpose of Door-to-Door Ministry

  let's call him "brotherx" - an elder who either has heard from the circuit overseer "by word of mouth" or has come to the conclusion himself about why jehovah's witnesses are determined to reach every person on the planet with .

  "the message of hope.

  " i'll try to paraphrase some of his comments.. brotherx explained to me and others in the congregation that we "work our territories to essentially decide who lives and dies at armageddon.

  My poor mother...HELP!

  i just got off the phone with my mom and ...even though i had trouble with my "native" language...i still got the message to her.

  jehovahs witnesses are bad!

  (sounds more dramatic in my language) we spent about 40 mins talking on the phone back and forth in the "disfellowshiping" rule.

  i guess you guys are right...my mom doesn't even know how to turn on a computer so no...i'll try to give her COC but...who kows...that might only push her in...might tick my brother off more...but what worse can it do? I appreciate everyone's response..and thank you ~FS

  berlin germany has told the united states it will withhold evidence against sept. 11 conspiracy defendant zacarias moussaoui unless it receives assurances that the material won't be used to secure a death penalty against him, germany's justice minister said in remarks released saturday.

  just seen this on the news.

  i know that european countries won't extradite anyone to the us if they could face the death penalty, but this seems a very different kettle of fish somehow.

  when i was in the truth i thought that the most ludicrous and petty ruling they ever introduced and still practiced is that congregation book study conductors were and are responsible for collecting every group members report.

  surely every member ought to be responsible for his/her own actions.

  at the beginning of the following month and certainly before the 5th i would always receive the stupid telephone call from the secretary are you aware that 3 publishers havent reported?

  if i recall correctly, jws teach that jesus returned and has been present since 1914. if this is true, then why do they keep observing the memorial?

  i said that to several jw's...no one listened...and accused me of apostacy. The Truth of the Matter is...Christ returned before that scripture was written...when He appeared to the disciples...and began His Rule because as He said when approaching them "All authority has been given to me" ....this statement would only be made by Him when He gets His Kingship. Then paul wrote that scripture...so in Truth...Paul was declaring that He is coming..and we should eat His flesh and Drink His blood until He comes to gather the Chosen. The Mistake the jw's make (as everyone knows) is they think he returned in 1914 in His "invisible" rule. This is a lie because The Master (Christ) was given all authority when He was resurrected. So there goes 1914. ~FS

  i just got off the phone with my mom and ...even though i had trouble with my "native" language...i still got the message to her. Jehovahs Witnesses are bad! (sounds more dramatic in my language) we spent about 40 mins talking on the phone back and forth in the "disfellowshiping" rule. I never yelled or anything..but emphasized a lot of words...and even though she's an unbaptized publisher now...the Witnesses have told her it's okay to have me come over but just to be "cautious" around me. Which to me his a lie ...Who wants to bet me 50 bucks that when she gets baptized i will be banned from my mothers house on account of the Watchtower? She changed the subject a lot ...going to a topic ABOUT jehovah's witnesses BUT did not answer my questions really. At one point she called me a Bafoon (in my language it means: "dumb ass" or "idiot") then 20 seconds later DENIED she ever made such a statement. She's becoming a typical jw and sad to see that. It's not just that, but also i have forgotten a lot of words of my language (Punjabi) and that makes it more difficult to communicate with her...especially since the way i speak English is how she speaks Punjabi and the way she speaks English is the way i speak Punjabi. I need help though...i need people that know someone...or have been kicked out of their parents house on account of disfellowshiping due to the "elders advice" ...i plan on writting her a long letter with these accounts with names and situations as to how or why this happened to them. I hope this will open my mothers eyes to the fact that what the elders have told my mother about whether or not i am permitted in the house is only TEMPORARY. ... So if you are...or know of anyone that this has happened to...please let me know...i need a lot of information...i plan on mailing a 10 page letter explaining why...disfellowshiping within itself is wrong...and also examples of people that were thrown out on account of the elders because of disfellowshiping. Any info would be highly appreciated. If you have had this happen to you and wish to share...i would greatly appreciate it so i can say "i know this person" not "i heard from someone's uncle's, cat's, dog's, hamster's, grandmother's, wife that it happened to the man at the quicky mart" lol anyway thanks~ ~FS

  actually...i'm not democratic or repulican...i just think the government sucks ...this is the same government that made 911 happen...that ALLOWED it to happen...and then blame another country BLINDLY. Without knowing for sure if it WAS or WAS NOT Osama. Yes i'm extremely sorry for all the people that died...and wish that they didn't experience pain and never had to face such an attack. HOWEVER as my sister in faith Shelby stated ...(not direct quote) why do YOU or anyone ELSE get ANGRY and MAD over a terrorist attack and wish to RETALIATE against your enemies...when you LIKEWISE have slaughtered MILLIONS by the H bomb in Japan? Or what about when the original 13 colonies were made...and all the native americans were slaughtered and forced to give up their land? And now...on the news...they're saying that new evidence points that the United states was actually the FIRST ones to attack on the whole "Pearl Harbor" thing. Such blood shed...from hypocrites. I do not agree with this government...or Osama's government...or any government on this earth...they all suck! lol i'm sorry but they do. i never have nor will look towards the government. ~FS

  p.s. it's ALSO interesting that the order that the governments work in...stemmed off from religion. No wonder religion is the disgusting thing causing desolation standing ina holy place

  I remember this question being said when i was still a Jw...and found it that most sisters didn't want to stop wearing clothes...and most brothers did....gee i wonder why...? ~FS
