I think I landed my dream job, y'all!!!

ok those of you that know me personally know that i sit on a ton of event committees, usually for non-profits benefitting kids.

yes, it is very rewarding but there is no paycheck.

this has not been an issue for us.

congradulations!!!!!!!!! I'll make a cake tonight.........and eat it too :-D ....alone. And then puke my guts out from all that sugar and lack of sleep from being hyperactive the next day. Not only for you... (don't you just feel the loved? )but also for my friend Emily who's BIRTHDAY it is today...YAY! ~FS

baptising minors

tonights news has made me think even harder about baptising minors.

it's one thing to hold adults accountable for breaking wt rules, but it's not right to subject kids to the harshness of shunning for doing what their parents encouraged them to do - get baptised.

when ever my kids screw up, i'm not that thrilled but i ultimately blame myself for my inadequate parenting - and yes i've been fairly inadequate at times.

the flock book states the following in unit 5(a) page 102:.

Translation: Disfellowshipment or Disassociation. I am no elder but i do know this much: You are never taken OFF the records. When i was sent to speak to the elders in regards what was going on and my Lords stand behind all this, the Elders forcefully kept asking the question "Do you want to remain in association with Jehovahs Spirit guided organization?" I heard a voice say "If you say No they will disfellowship or disassociate you" This question is a tricky question because you assume that they are saying "are you gonna be coming to the meetings again?" or something along the lines of "are you gonna be continue talking to us?" ...when in actuality it says "Our way or the highway" I kept saying to them "i am not in liberty to discuss that." Over and over and over again. The elders began to get very mad and one particular elder got impatient and asked that question about 3 or 4 times in a row without anything else being said. And Everytime He said so he kept being more forcefull and even made the comment "What are you holding ON to Aceson??." Showing how badly he desired for me to be disfellowshiped. I was later disfellowshiped without cause like many other people. ~FS

well as i said...beside from the actual stigmata..the message is true. I honestly don't believe that Christ would make us go through that same thing as he did. the stigmata itself was a lie..but the message i believe is Truth. Can't throw out the entire carton of eggs if one or two are broken. ~FS

Has anyone ever seen the movie "Stigmata?" ... except for the actual stigmata..and the baptism...the message of the movie is inspired! "the kingdom of God is inside you...and all around you. Not in buildings made of wood and stone. Split a peice of wood and i am there; lift a stone and you shall find me." I looked it up in the bible and realized it was a mistransulation where it says "the kingdom of God is in your midst"...It's suppose to give the message of "INSIDE you" ... and the funny thing is...there IS AN actual "gospel" found in 1945 that, that message was written in. Any thoughts? ~FS
