How'm I gonna spend my two bits at the five and dime?
by compound complex indo you remember the five and dime stores?.
whenever grandpa saw us kids, he gave us two bits (25 cents) each and, when feeling generous, four bits (50 cents).. back in the 50s, the late summer air was charged with excitement as we poor but studious urchins pored over what school supplies we would purchase with our then valuable coins.
whether school supplies or toys or what nots were on the must-get list scribbled out in our heads, we could spend quite some time determining how to allocate our dough.. how about you?

Back in the days of penny candy, I could get a comic book for 12¢ and a paper kite for 10¢.
I always got the yellow dragon kite.
One downside to this, the sales tax would really mess with my head.

Do You Realize That Almost EVERY Society Publication Is "Old Light" Now?
by minimus innow that the "faithful & discreet slave class" has become essentially the governing body since 1919, almost every publication is obsolete and useless!
(i know, they are useless)..... the fds doctrine is a core teaching unique to jehovah's witnesses and now i believe they will have to change all of their understandings that are recorded in the revelation climax book, ezekiel books---every prophetic book written by the society!.

Nothing has changed. The Live Forever book, Revelation ClimaXXX (spiritual pornography), Truth, Proclaimers and most other books contain Old Light TM and you really must get the recent publications to keep up with that onward rolling Chariot.
My estimate of the shelf life of a Watchtower issue would be 18 months, tops. The books start getting stale after 5 years, and at 10 years are so rancid that you would do well to recylce the paper.

by Theocratic Sedition inlast night i got to thinking about all that type and antitype foolishness, and how with these latest changes they've essentially thrown russell under the bus.
do you think the type/antitype belief system possibly brought about this latest change in understanding?
according to the notes on this latest change, russell was not the faithful & discreet slave, however just like john the baptist, he was the one forshadowing someone that would turn out to be larger in scope.

A big shift in the world is about to happen......

infact if you do not already realize or also feel something is about to happen as in the title, then move along, it will be a month or 2 before i update this.
it's not my intention to annoy anybody, i am too uncomfortable to post any details because it's too new and i need to verify things, and i am also feeling responsible to give a subtle warning, that it might be something somebody needs to see.

Quantum computers are overrated. I used one a while back for CGI work, and it would skip frames and misplace files so much that I could not use it in a productive way.

2 months of "intensive training". Anybody know what it is?
by donny ini am in dallas for the week and my mom informed me that my 32 year old son, who is an elder in a spanish congregation, told her that he and his wife are going to los angeles for 2 months for some "intensive training" and afterwards they may return to dallas or be reassigned elsewhere.
he said it was not missionary work, but it was something new the society was doing.
any clues as to wht this "new" thing is?
