the mess in the west continued
by Hortensia inwell, 60 or 70-car crash last night near siskiyou summit, due to ice on the road.
there's a traffic cam right about there, near holbrook, looks pretty bad tonight too.. heavy snow tonight and tomorrow, should be fun.
down to 16 degrees f. last night, pretty cold for a southern california gal who lives in norcal now.. have to take a pair of pliers out with me tomorrow, i have to turn a doohicky on the front wheels so i can use my 4wd, old-fashioned but very reliable vehicle.

You can't bash Christians out of one side of your mouth while claiming you are one out of the other side. It's logically inconsistent.

Another solution for reducing USA firearm homicide rate
by besty inbeen thinking about this for a while now.
in the absence of strong political leadership to enact stricter gun regulation it is clear that the people must excercise their 2a rights and bear arms.. think about the facts.. 9000 firearm homicides a year in the usa.
only 600 of those were by us - the good guys - law enforcement + justifiable action by joe sixpack.

Christmas Plans
by LouBelle inso what are your plans for christmas.. this year i am not spending it with my entire family.
some of them are doing their own thing/have their own plans, which i don't mind as sometimes those paticular family members can be straining.. so it will be spent with my mum, brother, father, some family friends and a couple of "strays" (people that don't have family to spend christmas with so we invite them over).
there will be a light breakfast shared and gifts opened in the morning.. i'm cooking up a feast:.

I would so much love to have a summer Christmas. It's on the list. The cold temps and white fluffy stuff looks good in pictures, but not all that great up close.

my aunt used to think she was going to make it through the great tribulation.
even a week before she died, she clung on to this fairy tale.. do you think jws believe they will never die at all and will, in their lifetime, be on a paradise earth to live forever?.

You need to read carefully what they say.
You have a PROSPECT of living forever on Earth in paradise. Just like when you go to a casino, you have a PROSPECT of winning the jackpot.

Now that means the bad guys are winning 15:1 - ouch - time to redress the balance...but how?
You are leaving out a very important number. You did not report the number of assaults that failed because the good guy wounded or scared the bad guy away. Getting killed is only one possible outcome when a gun is used. Also, how many of those incidents are bad guys offing other bad guys, like in gun fights? Without those numbers, your premise could be faulty and you wouldn't know it.
