  Most Annoying Things That Happen At JW Meetings

  today i was remembering how angry i used to get at the meetings and all the little irritations that in the end would just make my blood boil these included:.

  prayers that go on foreverstudy or wt conductors still taking comments when its clear that the point has been covered 20 times alreadymeetings over running by more than 5 minsmy favourite was this one elder who would play guess the point i am thinking of.

  he would keep rephrasing the question from the wt until someone would bring up the point he was thinking of.

  The totally useless "demonstrations" that purportedly show how to present the magazines

  or the "offer of the month" etc. Most are completely removed from reality and achieve absolutely

  nothing. "Thanks for the great demonstration Brother". Huh?????

  Shepherds customarily were buried with a tuft of wool in hand, to prove on Doomsday their occupation and be excused for often missing Sunday church.

  We Pray For The Governing Body...

  at the meetings i've noticed over the past 2 years or so brothers asking for 'special blessings' for the governing body.

  it was everyonce in a while at first.

  now it is almost at every single meeting!

  We are the slave so faithful and true
  we are here to look after you

  You shall obey us, like it or not
  even when we lie somewhat

  We are your brothers, that is all
  but disobey us, then you fall

  We are your fellow domestics too
  but never tell us what to do

  We give you the food that you need
  in WT articles from which you feed

  We travel the world to give you talks
  so you never wear tight pants for walks

  We know what you need before you pray
  just do it the Governing Body way

  We meet three times a week to decide what to do
  but we don't need any input from you

  Just your donations, your money, we need
  to build and invest, but it's not greed

  Pray for us to do our best
  we don't care about the rest

  We are the slave, so faithful and true
  we like it that way and so should you.

  Three Comments & An Ass-Chewing

  so, normally if i go to a meeting i sit and don't say a word through the entire ordeal.

  however today i just could not keep my big mouth shut.. it was funny that i even got called on....three times none-the-less.

  of course 99% of the sheeple just sat with blank looks on their mugs this morning.

  I really don't think anyone in my congregation had a clue what was going on.

  Dukes ( John Wayne?) ??

  I usually just zone out anyway during the WT study, but this one was a doozy.

  Almost everyone seemed to be zoning out and the conductor was desperate for comments

  (most of which were read straight from the WT anyway.)

  I almost felt a collective sigh of relief when it was over.

  Who writes this stuff? Are they on something?

  Tears of Joy streaming down the Levites faces? ( Para 7)

  Where did that come from?

  Can't wait for next weeks WT
