I just totalled the amount of time I have spent going to meetings/
travelling to and attending assemblies, field service, etc etc, over my 60 years.
It came to nearly 4 years.

Isn't it great the colour is grey
It's better than black or green or maroon
I really am right over the moon
My silver sword I will wield
when I am out in the field
I'm sure that many will want to look
at this wonderful new grey book
The verses now make much more sense
now I don't feel quite so dense
I can't wait to read it from cover to cover
Thank you so much our dear "mother"
The GB, the faithful slave,
they surely make me want to rave
about this provision direct from God
something that we should not hog
We have a new Bible
Hip Hip Hooray!
and it is GREY!
That really has made my day !
( This does not necessarily reflect my sentiments )

i started discovering the ttatt (the truth about the truth) last year after putting a few things together myself concerning the leadership and then doing some research online.. i really enjoyed jwfacts.com, jwsurvey, and others.

It is interesting that according to the WT you were appointed an Elder by Holy Spirit
w03 3/1 p. 17 par. 17
Further, elders serve in the local Christian congregation and, according to the apostle Paul, are appointed by holy spirit.
So what happened in your case if that is the case?
You were discovering the TATT, then appointed as an Elder. Hmmm...
anybody on this forum ever seen a ufo?.
i mean not ontv or youtube.

A family member and I recently saw a UFO. It was very odd. It was very bright, like a star during the day. At first I thought that it was a plane reflecting the sun, or a balloon as I am very skeptical. We observed it for 15 minutes and it never made one sound or moved, or changed altitude. It did wink or fade every so often, until finally it turned off or left, or whatever. It was gone.
I always assume that it is Military craft of some kind. I really have no other explanation. This was the first time that I had someone else see something with me. It was pretty cool.

That's interesting. Where did you see it? Could you take any photos?

I apologize for getting your screen name wrong. It wasn't intentional, but your name reminded me of a Clint Eastwood movie where the people were calling their town 'Molly-Be-Dam.' In thinking about it, I think I unintentionally spelled it out as your screen name.
Take Care
Hey.. no problem. I've been called worse things.
Thanks for replying to the thread I started.
Seems like the Japanese government are calling in help from
the USA to deal with the problems at Fukushima.
So everything will be OK now, I guess

http://fairewinds.org/media/radio/olympic-insanity-gundersen-charge-fukushima
explaining the situation at Fukushima and how the
Japanese government is hiding the true facts.
Especially as Tokyo is now the venue for the 2020 Olympics
and PM Abe said in his speech " Everything is under control" which appears to be a barefaced lie.
There is no way that this unprecendented situation
can be considered even remotely under control.
It would seem that the situation is beyond human control.
The consequences of another large earthquake or some kind
of accident with the removal of the fuel rods in reactor 4 building would
almost certainly overshadow what has happened
until now.
So how does God ( Jehovah) fit into this picture.
In Revelation 11:18 it says that God will " bring to ruin those ruining the earth"
Or will God step in and prevent another unprecedented disaster from affecting the whole world,
which is what would probably happen if Fukushima has another major accident.
Would he just stand by and let this happen?
I guess it comes down to how much faith we individually have in God and to what extent he would protect
us from our own folly.
( apologies for the large space at the top i don't quite know why .
i sat through the wt study that dealt with all the new understanding.. the conductor started by by saying .
well we wont spend too much time on what we used to believe, we will consider what we believe now.. i took a look round to see how the members of the congregation were reacting to this.. nothing.... .
If you were in a court of law as a witness, you would be asked to swear to tell" the whole truth and nothing but the truth"
However, if you changed your story many times but in your defence said,
"Well, I believed what I said was the truth at the time, but what I am saying now is the truth, however
I might change my mind again in the future", you would probably not be considered to be a reliable witness,
would you. Perhaps even be in contempt.
