  How the "family study night" could backfire on the WTS

  since the cbs in private homes has been cancelled, the wts is now strongly encouraging "family study nights".

  but wait a minute...there's no printed schedule in the km!

  but I'm willing to bet a pretty fair number will actually start to study the Bible, rather than studying books or magazines about the Bible.

  Nope,

  JW's only know how to study the bible by way of "bible based publications". To them that IS studying the bible.

  In time, there will be articles about family worship night where they will make suggestions. "perhaps you could study......" then the CO will have a demonstration at an assembly showing a happy christian family studying together. This will become "regulated" in time. No doubt the elders will be given direction from the CO to examine each family heads study report. After all, between a husband and wife with 3 or 4 kids that could be quite a few studies the WTS could use to inflate their reports....

  the easiest way to validate the truth of Ray's writings is the fact that the WTS has never sued him for slander.

  Is there a more letigious organization on the planet than the WTS? Do you think for a moment that if Franz was lying that the org would not do everything in its power to prove it? To publicly humiliate him?

  Look at the judge that threw Rutherford & his cronies into prison, they even went so far as to connect a charge of accepting bribes (which happened 20 years later) by implying that the Judge may have accepted bribes in the judgement against the WTS.

  The WTS will stop at nothing to discredit anyone that speaks out against it. If Franz was lying you can be sure the WTS would have sued him for it, and somehow, in the Revelation book a revision would be written which would then connect the public humiliation of Ray Franz to a prophetic event in Revelation.

  You can gaurantee that the WTS & its lawyers have read CofC cover to cover with each revision.

  my daughter and her husbands small dog disappeared..it was no where to be found..until they went to the pond in the yard..the dog fell into the pond,drowned and the pond froze over..now the dog is frozen into the pond,under the ice and they can`t get him out.....you can still toss the dog a treat,but it just hits the ice and slides to the other end of the pond.......................outlaw

  all of this is code for: one who is not ready to really study and accept how the leadership of jehovah's witnesses use the bible to their own self serving means.

  but to be fair, jw's teach that most all of these characters refer to the leadership of jehovah's witnesses, the governing body.

  It means you are still a babe to the fact that JW's really teach that practically ALL "faithful" OT charecters from Noah and Abraham through Elijah and Elishah and David to Hezekiah are prophetic of the Presidents of the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society. The one I refer to the most is as an answer to one of the questions on a Gilead test, Elijah prophetically pointed to Judge Rutherford, Elisha pointed to N H Knorr. That is my favorite, that is when I realized I was mislead

  I remember the illustration using a pencil and the speaker would start at the eraser and go down the pencil.
  We are at the lead, no brothers and sisters we are at the point, the tip of the lead of this pencil. Very dramatic.
  This was years ago, wonder where we are at on that pencil now?

  I remember about 15 years ago a brother saying that if the timeline of humanity was represented by the distance between the 2 side walls of the KH then one side would be the creation on the earth and at the other the "new system" Where would we be? "Our nose would be touching that wall!"

  there were increases in the previous years too.. this massive increase is no doubt attributeable to the 'new light' this year that the calling of the 'heavenly class' was not closed in 1935, as previously taught.

  the new understanding this year is that the calling of the 'anointed' class is 'evidently' still open.

  The WTS tries to handle that by distancing itself from the 1935 date in 2007, only to have it come back and bite then in the ass worse than ever in 2008.

  to me bringing up this wrong light should cause people to wonder how they could have stretched a scripture to make such an application. Why did the WT "express" this in 1933 then "especially" since 1966 run with it? This interpretion is what drove the Oracles entire tenure as president.
  the annointed were special, they were above the R&F, there were no new ones called, only me and my buddies you just keep listening to me and my special friends.

  Why dont JW's stand back and ask - how could we (they) have made such a stupid mistake? How could my parents and grandparents spent their whole lives believing a falsehood?

  Expect a watchtower study to be inclusive of the thought that some of these partakers are not genuine (apostates? or mentally unstable) and attempts have people "rethink" think their anointed status.
  
  Also, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a psychological "out" in attempt to reduce guilt. Something along the lines of Jah' forgives

  i was told by one sister that she heard from this "missionary who gave a talk in her KH" told someone else over dinner (or some crazy drawn out connection like this) that the reason the numbers of annointed are increasing is because of all the growth in countries like mexico and africa where they dont understand properly and partake because thats what they have always done (in catholicism)

  hello? did these people not go over the "questions" with 3 elders to make sure they understand? maybe then the numbers are increasing becuase the elders are slacking? or maybe because this religion is a joke? ya - I choose that one..........

  first off..... the change in the 1935 bit was 2007.

  the change to the generation was this year officially, but this was announced at the annual meeting in Sept 2007.

  as for the generation, it is the 144k, not the 144k "since 1914" - just the 144k/remant.

  as for growth, it means nothing now. Jehovah has been so kind to bless us with annointed right into the NS. Growth means nothing as there is no closing and no connectivity to a date, there is also the point the WTS was so kind to make about there always being annointed with us...

  quite a few people on jwd have said they suffer from complex post traumatic stress disorder ( c-ptsd).

  i'm not sure how well this issue has been discussed.

  c-ptsd is slightly different than ptsd.
